The need for foot long torx screwdriver set. But when you do, it is great to have instead of looking about.If you have a Mac, Fat Mac, Mac SE or similar sctructured Macintosh, this is key. Sheesh pun not intentional.About 2 months after this purchase, I did find the actual Macintosh opening tool.

Long enough for most Torx tasks
I needed a long Torx T10 to remove a screw in a favorite, old space heater from the 1990s that I wanted to clean and repair. I tried several tricks including unsuccessfully soldering a T10 bit to a long rod. Finally, I broke down and purchased this set of long Torx drivers.It did the trick, and I was able to remove the deeply set screws. I have needed long Torx drivers now and then so the rest will come in handy some day.The quality is very good. The steel seems durable. The Torx bit at the end seems to be hardened and did not bend while removing the tight screw. The handles are adequate, but some of the lettering on the handles was imperfect. It is still more than sufficient for handling a long Torx task.

Long shipping times but tools are worth it
Perfect for getting at those hard to reach interior screws. The holder it comes with is fairly generic however it does not take away from the tools themselves which work exactly as you would expect.

One of those tools you won't need much, but when you need it, you need it!Worked great for my job, saved lots of time and aggravation finding them on Amazon.

If you need great security Torx screwdrivers, do yourself a favor and order these.

Bought these for the handles.
Wanted a set of torx. I looked around quite a bit. A lot of them have a single handle with bit to change out. These can be convenient but there a problem with them. A lot of stuff that has torx screws in them are recessed in like half an inch to a couple of inches sometimes. These bit type setups won't get deep enough in to reach the torx screws because the bits are too big around. Believe me this has happened to me many times. So I wanted individual bits with individual unmovable handles. Cost a little more and are a little more bulky to carry but they going to work on everything. Ended up getting two sets to have all available sizes. This set was the larger sizes and I got another one with the smaller sizes. Worked out perfect. Recently opened an xbox controller to clean it and it had recessed torx screws that I wouldn't have been able to reach with a bit replacement set. With these no problem.
