water tight and easy to install

This hatch worked well as a rear hatch on my 2019 Hobie Outback. I couldn’t justify the price of a Hobie hatch, so I’m glad this worked out well. Water resistance is ok. After a heavy wash with water pooled up over the hatch, a few drops of water did make its way into the kayak. Just for reference, I do have some electronics mounted inside the kayak just in front of the hatch and there wasn’t enough water to worry me. Included hardware is very good quality also. I highly recommend this if you’re thinking about putting a rear hatch in your Hobie. Good luck!

Haven't had the time to install but the quality is good

I have a cheap kayak I bought from a retail store and just added this and it fit perfect.

This storage container was the perfect addition to my kayak! My husband cut a hole in the kayak & fit the storage unit perfectly in place! I did use it as a cooler, i used ice packs & was able to fit 4 12oz cans in it. Not sure how waterproof it is but it's definitely handy to have!

Nice for the price. Had our Vibe dry hatch lid fly off while leaving the river made it home seen it was missing so we bought this one so it is a temporary fix. It will take a few weeks for the original Vibe Lids to arrive. It did fit on a Vibe Sea Ghost 130 but had to shave about 1/8 off around the hole to fit snug. The only complaint I have is that it didn’t come with any screws so just be prepared to go buy your own screws. Luckily we live right down from Ace Hardware and I grabbed 10 screws.

I had to return the item due to a mistake on my part. The item was in excellent shape and well made. I misjudged the size of the opening on my Kayak.

The only complaint is that the bag is not waterproof as described in the ad .

Exactly the right size to replace the rear hatch that previous owner siliconed shut on my Native Titan 10. Works great. Inner sleeve is removable which was a nice bonus that I was hoping for but not expecting

Installed on my Pelican Catch 120 and fits perfectly! Arrived with a gasket that i used to trace the hole foe cutting.. I cut along the inside edge and slowly increased the hole size until it perfectly and not too tight! I finished the install with Gorilla Glue 100% silicone (clear) for waterproofing! I would buy again if needed.

Was fairly easy to install. Once the hole was measured and cut I used some marine silicone and small bolts and nuts to finish the job. Didnt use the bag that came with it. Would rather have the larger storage space of the rear hull on my catch 120.
