Excellent- unbelievable value for the money- accurate enough for DTI -disposable at this price
I love these little indicators. They work really well in general. About 8 out of ten come out of the box just perfect, a few are sticky or stiff, etc- send those back. You'll get a good one. I have some really nice Interapid, Starrett's and B&S but I like these for everyday jobs like tramming in a vise or a head. I don't think of DTI's as quantitative tools even on a surface plate really. These things work really well for the price. If I drop one or run one against a stop, or turn on the spindle - its not a catastrophe. Fills a great need for everyday use. They're actually pretty rugged. Great value for me.

Small dial but works well
The dial is a lot smaller than a normal sized dial. However it trammed my LMS mill vice perfectly. I didn't need a high dollar Starrett test indicator for this function. I would absolutely suggest this item for this purpose. Very happy with purchase.

Good for the weekend warrior.
This is a really good for the money test indicator. It appears reasonably accurate. If your livelihood depends on instruments like this, spend the money and get the good ones. If you're a weekend warrior like me, I think you will be happy. It's dirt cheap. I will likely order another in case this one takes a poo

Accurate and reliable.
I mostly use this for tramming vices and it has been very, very reliable for that. Accurate, good results, quick setup, everything I need and nothing I don't.

Cracked lens
What can I say I buy a lot of tools and equipment I kind of expect to receive new tools in good condition no matter the cost But today I was a little disappointed as the lens on this indicator is cracked.

not bad at all
My expectations were very low but it's a useable test indicator. The 5 rating is for the price. It's not like I had to lay out $300 for a Starret .
