PackIt Freezable Lunch Bag, Gray Stripes

I bought two of these bags. One for me to take to work and another for my high schooler son. We both don't have the option of putting our food in a refrigerator during the day so someone recommended these bags for us.The outside material feels durable like it's not going tear easily. There is a small strap with a clip so you can use it as a handle to carry it or clip it to a backpack or larger bag.The fact that it folds up is great because it doesn't take up a lot of space in the freezer. The built in ice packs helped to keep my drink cold. The inside can be wiped clean. The exterior would need to be spot cleaned. The colors are accurate like in the photos.I included a photo of the bag next to some items for size reference.

This little cooler has been a total lifesaver during the hot summer months! It’s the perfect lunchbox size—compact but fits everything I need for the day. I love that it has built-in ice packs, so I just toss the whole thing in the freezer overnight and it’s good to go by morning. It keeps my lunch cold. No more soggy ice packs or worrying about spoiled food. It’s super lightweight, easy to carry, and fits nicely in a backpack or tote. If you pack lunch for work, school, or travel, especially in the summer heat, this cooler is absolutely worth it. Cold lunch, no hassle. Highly recommend!

I love that it folds away and doesn't take up space in the freezer. I store four 8 ounce milk bottles in there and send to daycare. It even fits 11 ounce bottles. I throw in an extra ice pack just in case, but the outer edges stay cool because the entire bag is insulated and freezes in the freezer as well so you don't necessarily need that ice pack. This is great for fitting in lunches too. I ordered two. One for my work lunch and one for bottles of milk to send to my son's daycare. I love the designs.

I have the snack size but wanted something that could get me through the day. It folds pretty small that it isn’t a problem in the freezer and it keeps things cold most of the day. I think my only complaint would be the way it closes; the zipper works fine but the Velcro snap seems like it is best when the bag is completely full, so if it’s not I either have a pocket of air at the top of the strap pulls to far past the Velcro.

This is the second PackIt freezable lunch bag I've owned. I really loved the first bag I had a few years ago, and after using this bag regularly for about a month, I can say that the quality is still there. This bag is durable and does a great job keeping my food cold for hours. When expanded, the bag is fairly large, and I can fit a decent amount of food in it (I've fit two small packets of chicken and two small yogurt containers, with some room leftover for more). It's also easy to clean and folds up easily to put in the freezer until the next use. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

This replaced an older lunch bag, same brand. This one is much better in many ways. The Velcro isn’t stressed when you carry the bag, bag isn’t going to pop open, like the last lunch bag. There are more freezer packs built in so your food will stay cold longer, for hours. I still add another small ice block in very hot weather if I have room. And it doesn’t look like a purse! Who wants to leave lunch on your car seat when the bag looks like a purse, inviting theft?

I love this concept that it has it's "ice pack" built in. I use it as a breastmilk storage everyday at work and I've left it out room temp (when I have no access to fridge) and kept it in between breaks and lunches in the fridge and after 10 hours the sides are still frozen and the milk is still cold! Then I can rest assure my baby will stay safe. The zipper allows for seal and further keeping contents inside very cold. The bag is pretty expandable if I need to stuff it with lots of things, (rare) but totally possible. Would be great for someone who doesn't have access to fridge at work but want to keep something cold for long times. I've never kept it in direct heat, when I take it outdoors I'll make sure to put it in the baby packback or somewhere covered.

I have bought these every year for my kids since they started school. They are now going into 5th and 3rd grade. The zipper design has been the best thus far. Yes, the velcro tends not to last the entire year, but zipper helps to keep it all closed up and cold and still easy to carry. They do tend to be heavy when they are cold, but I bought it to keep my kids' lunches and drinks cold and they do that wonderfully. Nothing else can compare in that department. My kids carry their backpacks very little distance (we drive to school together), so the weight doesn't bother me - (they just need to clean out the junk from their backpacks). I have however, emailed them every year to ask them to give more options for boys - especially older boys. The only reason I buy them year after year instead of using the same one is because my kids use them every day during the school year and they get quite dirty and for the price and the use - I'll buy a new one each year.

Pop this in the freezer and it’s good to keep your lunch chilled the next day! Rolls up small and holds a lot!
