Sterilite 14138606 Layer Stack & Carry Box, 10-5/8-Inch

This Stack and Carry is the handiest hobby case ,children's small piece toys, artist supplies,etc.It's size is just right for children to be able to carry (or myself as I have some physical problems; that being able to organize all my projects together and then clip the bins together so I. have only one item to carry is fantastic!) I bought one set about 3 years ago for my granddaughters art supplies when she comes to visit and really enjoys having all her markers,colors,colored pencils etc.in one set. It also has 1 tray with sections to keep small items,like swabs,stickers,google eyes,etc. If you don't need the small sections you can remove it and " ta da" you have another bin for large objects! They are very sturdy,you can see which one you need and just unclip that bin and get to work! I recently came across them once again when I was online shopping and bought 2 more! They also make perfect "junk drawers" and you can save your cupboard and dresser drawers space for more clothing and dish space! T he price on these small ones is very affordable . (By the way! I lost 1 of the 2 I just bought when my granddaughter came as she wanted one to take home to"organize her stuff". ) I will be getting more now that I found a place that sells them.

I have never had a bad Sterilite product & I have bought a ton of them. I may be single-handedly keeping them in business. I bought a product similar to this one in an off brand. It was horrible, which is why I bought this one. I use it in my sewing area to keep all my little parts and spare needles in check. I keep my fabric marking pencils in there, my elastic runners, tape measures, etc. This box is a little small, but they offer larger ones, which I intend to also buy. The lids fit on this box perfectly & they are tight ones the box is closed. There are no gaps along the sides like the off-brand I bought. The smaller size does make it convenient if you're short on space or if you need to haul it around. It's not 'too' small because it fit almost everything I had stored in the off-brand box that I immediately got rid of once I got this one. I intend to buy more of these in different sizes. They are handy for lots of things & the lids fasten securely. Some storage boxes I've had are a nightmare to open and close. These are easy to open and close but the lids stay tight & in place while shut.

This set is on the smaller side but it is perfect for all those little household odds and ends that you need to keep but just don't have a spot for! Paper clips, push pins, and clips can all be stored in the top section which has a tray inside with several individual compartments. Each compartment clicks into the next with the handles and stays securely closed! I am able to store this entire set in my dining room credenza and pull it out whenever I need it!

it works perfectly for what I bought it for. the lid and lower trays clip on nice and solid and its not too fidgety to get it seated to latch. there is one thing. if the middle or top tray is unlatched, and the one below it is latched you (will I) have to fidget with it to get the latcher up to close it. there isn't much room between the closed latch below, not enough to get a finger in, and the side edges of it sit close enough to the tub that it can be hard to flip it up from the side. its not difficult to do, just not something you can do with your off hand while not actually paying attention to it. so if they are all open and you stack em, close the top one first and work your way down. I especially like the blue separator box in the top bin. the size of the slots are good, not so small that nothing will fit, but not so big as to be useless as a separator.

We used this for a bill-paying box. It's compact and easy to transport from desk to table -- or wherever you pay your bills. I won't judge.We used the top insert for small post-its, rolls of stamps, etc. Section two was for checkbooks, pens, return address stickers. The bottom was for unpaid bills. Easy peasy mac and cheesy. As long as you pay your bills. Don't just leave them in the bottom box and expect the bill fairy to pay them. People will take you to court...and then to a fancy hospital with padded walls if you keep talking about a bill fairy.The divided insert comes out of the top box if you don't want to use that.All the boxes clip together with handles. Open the handles ad you have three separate boxes. Neat-o.

Bought this to replace an old sewing box. The three separate trays allow me to sort sewing items into the 3 different sections. The sections all clip together easily. The top box comes with a removable tray with 6 sections (4 squares are roughly 3" x 2-1/2" and 2 squares are 3" x 3-1/2"). You can unclip all three of the trays, or just the one you need access to. It works perfectly for my needs and so much better than what I had been using.
