The charging port on this failed after 3 years. It may seem a long time, but this a very expensive item, and should last longer than this. And looking at the reviews, (which I invite you to do) I see that the broken charging point is a recurring problem. This suggests that this is not a random accident but a known design flaw. The charging port has simply detached and fallen into the device. This is not due to forced or aggressive use. I work in the film industry and am used to handling technical equipment of all kinds. Anker's customer service person refuses to acknowledge the fault and instead relies on their shabby warranty policy, and insist it is up to me to 'prove' there was a fault with it. Great way to keep a customer Anker. I shall not buy any of their products again. They may think it is fine to lose one customer, but if this is how they do business, things may unravel faster for them than they imagine. Very disappointed.

I ordered the 3 pack of 3.5mm headphone to lightning connector. I have only tried one, that I'd taken to work. On first connection the music starts playing without any issue. Then all of a sudden the music starts playing on the iPhone speaker and a message appears on screen saying "This accessory is not supported by this iPhone". I will try the other two connectors when I get home, but if persists then I will have to get another. The problem is I listen to music for around 4/5 hours. All my bluetooth headphones last about 3 hours max before needing to be charged again. So I use these connectors to be able to carry on listening to music.Anyway I'll prob update once I get home and try the other two connectors.

Update 08/01/16.After my previous review I was contacted by Anker customer support and offered a new battery pack, as it seems that the one I received was faulty as it was taking an exceptionally long time to charge up, we'll good to their word they sent me a new one and this one charges much quicker than the first, from 50% to full in about 6 hrs, which I think is good considering the large capacity of the pack.The one thing I can't change is that it's heavy, not something that you'd want in a jacket pocket or even in a bag too long, however it does the job of charging everything OK, I have to stand by the comment about the weight and it's really on the borderline of being worthwhile with the extra weight that you'll be carrying. It's going to be a boon if you're going to be away from the mains for a day or two, but if it's just for a day out, then choose a smaller one.You can't knock the quality of the device, it's excellent. I've upgraded this to 5 star because of the excellent customer service.

This particular model seems to be working well.I have bought a number of the Anker chargers to use while playing Niantec Ingress and Ingress Anomalies in various countries. They give hours and hours of backup power which last all day, but they can fail disapointingly. I recently had to leave one with my brother in Spain to be rececled as it just suddenly failed to charge or deliver a charge. With another the charge just dropped dramatically from one port, and another where one physical USB port has dropped within the housing so I cannot connect a cable to it, while the other port is OK.However this and the earlier version of this model range are working fine so far.It would be great if Amazon/Anker sold leather belt holders for these things as they are quiet heavy in the pocket.

I've had this for over 12 months now and it's still going strong. Mainly used for camping trips, it keeps my phone & tablet charged for 4 or 5 days. It's quite big and heavy but that's the price you pay for the high capacity. I have a second, smaller Anker battery pack that I can carry in my back pack for days out. Build quality is good, as I have found with all the Anker products I have purchased. My only gripe, and it is a very small one, is that the protective bag is too big, it would be better being a snug fit, although it does leave plenty of room for several charging cables.

I have been using this powerpack for several months now and it has been nothing short of terrific.I use it mainly to drive my heater on my solar telescope filter and it has lasts for many hours ( many others have failed for this kind of use)I also use it when I travel abroad to keep my iPhone charged thus negating the need for any euro plug adapters. I have never managed to discharge the powerpack when used to charge the iPhone despite being away for 10 days at a time.The intelligent charge function is also very useful and dramatically increases performance in use.The unit typically charges from completely discharged overnight.The build quality, packaging and delivery times were all fine as expected.

EDITED:Since leaving the review below I have since received a newer (smaller) battery from Anker. Regardless of my review on here, Anker have some of the best customer service I have ever dealt with and I have been overly pleased with their products for many years.I own a number of Anker batteries of differing sizes. This is now the largest and by far the heaviest, meaning that it is not an option for travelling.Other Anker batteries are a lot lighter and smaller but are still able to hold enough power to last a long weekend away for all my gadgets and gizmos.This will still come in handy for a back up power supply for the power goes out, or in luggage but may not be ideal for EDC.
