These lamps are about 0.9 inches in maximum diameter, which is slighter larger than the standard incandescent C7.They fit fine, but a big snuggle to get through the hole of a night light's screen, but they do fit if you push them just a little bit. The standard incandescents -and my old Xmas lights- all fit with a bit of space through the bottom opening of the screen.However, as an LED these lights run cool and put out a lot of light (hence using the diffusing night light screen).Nice color too.

In the box store world it's hard to find a light bulb that's the size of a night light that will push the eqv of 20 watts. Further, my main issue is to find a 20 watt (eqv) period!!! I have a double sconce and am finding that a 25w bulb is just to bright for my situation. I have searched for years and could never find a bulb punching 15-20watts ! But, now as LED bulbs come more common, more options have opened up! Arrived on time looking exactly as the photo!!

Replaced old 15 watt above ceiling fan bulbs with these. Eight bulbs replacements yielded a cost of use $ savings that is very significant & the lower glare & mid range color light you get with these bulbs allow the fixtures to be used for more periods of time. Since we have solar assisted power panels on our roof, helping our panels do their best with more efficient bulbs — works for both our pocketbook & the ecosystem.

Used these in a night light with a photocell. As it got dark the led light would begin to flicker light a strobe light and would not stop until it was completely dark in the room. The photo cell must deliver less that full voltage until fully dark. Replaced led with a standard incandescent bulb and the night light worked fine.

I bought these to replace the up-lights in a fancy ceiling fan (Hampton Bay), hoping for better light output than the 6 incandescent "night light bulbs" that were in it. They certainly do not light to 20Watt equivalence in this application. The color temperature is not warm white or bright white, seems like it is slightly cool greenish... They also do not go completely out when turned off. I am sure that the problems are due to the electronic switching (remote fan control) and I knew that is was a risk, as I had problems with LED recessed lights on a remote controlled fan circuit, in the past. As it is all in a fan 10 feet up in the garage (fan was a gimme from a friend) I will leave them in place - I now have a fan with a night-light.... Might be OK in a straight analog switched application, but not on a dimmer or electronic switch....

The right price, replaced the bulbs in y Maytag wacher and dryer, nice and bright, also very durable, and a lot less money than buying the "incandescent " maytag replacement bulb.
