When compared to the cassia type, this clearly is different in presentation and flavour. Each of them (cassia and Ceylon) have their distinctive style and it depends upon the individual's preference. I personally liked both the varieties. However due to presence of certain ingredients in the cassia type that are harmful to liver/kidney when taken in large quantities on daily basis, I would prefer the Ceylon type.

Whether it is regular, black or lemon tea ☕️ , ilaichi/ cardamom is an indispensable ingredient for us. I have a mortar and pestle devoted only to crushing the fragrant ilaichi pods. many a times i have contemplated grinding the pods for a convenient use of ilaichi. but never got around to doing it :(prosKeya gives us the convenience of using cardamom powder with this glass bottle and twin dispensing options.The cardamom is nicely powderedcan be used for cooking v v v v v v CONS v v v v v vThe bottle reads cardamom seeds powder. i doubt it is the whole pod and not just the seeds. while i have used only 2-3 crushed seeds for 2 cups of tea i need 1/4 tsp of this powder for the same. So this turns out to be more expensive.keya should not put the sticker on the lid as it makes opening the lid a struggle. you just can't figure out which side has the slots. there should be a small tab for easy single hand flipping open of the cap. i use other keya spices and find the design irritating.hope this was helpful

The product is really good. Bottle is very convenient to use, it's not messy. Nice aroma and flavor. I mix a dash of cinnamon with my oats , chia seed pudding and corn flakes. Tastes and smells really fresh. Also I was scared that the glass bottle is gonna break while coming but the packing was amazing. Am really satisfied

I did not find any difference with manually ground whole cardamom. There are no passive buffers like starch or chemicals that increase the weight. Flavour is moderately strong. Needs roughly equal amount as ground whole cardamom to impart identical strength of flavour. Obviously, some flavour is lost during storage, but that's the price we pay for more convenience.

Quality product. I use it as a face mask along with honey and nutmeg powder to fight acne. After 30 minutes washed my face with lukewarm water and finally applied rose water as toner and a moisturiser that is purely drops of jojoba oil and Argan oil. Works well.

I had purchased this product on 16.4.2019. Earlier this product was having original cinnamon flavor, smell and taste. In the recent past, I have purchased four units in two spells. The recent one was with full price without any discount with a hope that I would get a genuine Sri Lankan Cinnamon powder. However the product received by me is without any flavor and has a bland taste and smell like that of saw dust powder. Completely disappointed for the second time with this product. Avoid this.

I use this brand product since long time and cardamom smell i like and use generously in all sweets as it is powder form save my time and enjoy my cooking with it. It is received in good bubble packing no chance to damage Keya brand i stored all type of herbs and powder in my fridge door side. Thanks to amazon for prompt delivery of product.

Some I needed in my pantry, however, it’s too expensive for that Quantity.
