Good enough for a small time wood working business
Not made for industrial use. If looking for a small shop need for knife making scales, small wood working projects. Get one if wanting to do industrial work. Pay for an industrial size at 80xs the price

Nice options and really easy to change spindles
Nice options and really easy to change spindles. The only real downside is the dust collection really does not work that well with a shop vac - maybe it needs a more powerful vac.

Great sander
I did not like the fact that since I did not buy the sander from Home Depot the warranty is not applied. The sander is great and well built so the warranty is probably not a factor but is still seems like a bad policy.

RIDGID product support is worthless
My sander was shipped with a missing part. A very simple issue. RIDGID's registration and support is worthless. Round and round on-line and I can't get a simple part replaced. No way I will ever buy another RIDGID product. Run away from RIDGID products.

Ridgid does not honor their "Lifetime Warranty"
Buyer beware. Ridgid offers its famous "lifetime warranty" to products bought either directly from them or from Home Depot. This does NOT apply to any of their products bought through Amazon, despite it being from the official Ridgid store right here on Amazon. Simply said: if you want their warranty, you can't buy it here.

Missing parts
So far disappointed! Purchased as used like new and missing parts: sanding drums, sanding sleeves, throat plates, hex keys, drum washers, knobs and feet.

Best occilating belt/spindle sander on the market. It works perfect it’s easy and fast to switch from belt sander to spindle sander. Super versatile and reliable. I would buy the same if ever I needed to. A must have tool for me, I build electric guitars and some furniture.
