We got this to embarrass my brother-in-law, and it was super loud and did its job.

Invest in a pair of ear plugs because this horn is incredibly loud. Don't use as a prank to scare people as it will damage your hearing. It is compact and light, it's easy to put in your pocket. Made in the USA and meets U.S. COAST GUARD REQUIREMENTS. If you're in need of help, this will get attention. It will probably scare a bear away. You only need a couple short blasts to scream out 120 dbs. That way it can be reused dozens of times. 10 out of 10.

The media could not be loaded. This horn is very high pitched, LOUD, and EXTREMELY EAR PIERCING!!!I cannot comment on how many blasts you get out of it’s canister because I haven’t had it that long, but I would buy this one again.👍

I thought I was buying a standard-size can I see at West Marine or Walmart, but this was much smaller. Due to its small size, it fits perfectly in my console, but I have not tried it as I am not sure how much I will get out of it due to the size. I am saving it for when I need it. I like it handy if I need it and don't want to have to move very far to grab it.

I live in an area with lots of bears that go through trash cans on trash day, and they are not at all afraid of humans or dogs. One single toot from this airhorn, combined with a voice command, stopped a bear that was about to go to town on my neighbor's trash can. Earlier in the day, it took about four people and two car horns to get that same bear to leave. I highly recommend this for bears. I was pretty impressed at how well it worked, and I was standing probably 100 feet away, too.

For those of you that only look at the 5 star rating. This product is a complete scam and beyond junk. If you ever get pulled over by law enforcement on the water. It won't work. You cannot return it. DON"T BUY!

UPDATE: Thanks to Amazon, this was addressed and the appropriate action was taken! Koodos to Amazon, they always come through, when it's the right thing to do! I appreciate you,for appreciating me! 😉👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾Makes no sound whatsoever 🤨 I waited until I was in an open space before testing this and I'm so disappointed. 😞 There's only a poof 🌬️ sound and a leaky chemical smell that drops and nothing else. 🧐 When I attempted to return it, once I got to the option for Return, the prompt takes me to "Reason for Return" after I choose "Defective" - it will not allow me to complete the return, it keeps jumping back to "Continue Shopping" instead of completing the return. I don't wish to continue shopping, I would like a full refund and I regret that I took a chance on ordering after reading that other customers had the same problem that I'm having. I'm very disappointed that it gives the option to return but will not allow me to complete the return. I don't recommend this brand (Better Boat). So disappointed. 😞 I've called the company and left a message and I'm still waiting on a call back, which I don't believe I will receive. My first Review was not Posted and no action has been taken to rectify. I do not recommend this item at all. Will not order anymore when companies don't stand by their product. I'm always suspect when Returns are not offered automatically, I should have followed my instinct. Not sure why first Review wasn't posted but will not Review anymore.

The horn didn’t work however I went to the support website and requested to send it back for troubleshooting and the representative sent me another one with no hesitation. Aside from that incident. Would recommend 🎉
