Giddy Gearz - Gears Monkey School Set

Our boy turns 3 tomorrow. We got this today and he is enthralled. It requires problem solving skills and calculations so his little tongue has been sticking out most of the time to help him think. The mechanical part is not interesting to our youngster at this time so being able to have the set working without it is a good feature.The only part of the music that I can understand in its chipmunk-voice is "boom boom boom boom". The rest is gibberish to me.There is minor assembly in placing stickers. Some of the gears don't need stickers to I tore one off and just punched through the others as needed.This will be a toy that Jr only plays with directly with another adult and not alone for quite some time. It will "live" in a Baggie when not being played with.(Please forgive the disarray of the house in the video. We were flooded for the 2nd time in 11 months and the walls are cut as well as various other "decor" issues.)

This set is really cool. I like that you can do it manually, or use the motorized house. However I took two stars off because I think the music on the house is inappropriate for children. It's hard to make out the lyrics, but it's definitely singing, "boom boom boom, I want you in my room. Let's spend the night together. From now until forever." My three year old doesn't get it, so it's not a huge deal, but it seems like they could have picked any other song.. ???

I received this 3 days before the estimated arrival day.I bought this because it is educational toy that childcare that my son goes also have them.He plays with it hours and hours.It is durable and fun.Although he lost couple pieces it is still working without the missing parts.I highly recommend it.

Absolutely love it !!The kids play tirelessly with it . Any toy that can do that gets two thumbs up from me !! Just wonderful , especially for the price .
