We love this book and all the short stories compiled within
We love this book and all the short stories compiled within. My 11yr old son enjoyed it and asked for his own copy. This was part of our homeschool curricula last year and I will be using this as a Literature/Book Club choice this year with my 4th-6th graders. . The copy we received was gently used and as described by the seller. Looking forward to rereading the stories for years to come.

Disappointed in this anthology
Disappointed in this anthology. Love Paulsen's writing, but apparently not his taste in the writing of others. I would pass this one by unless you need to choose between this and the cereal box for your daily reading fix.

A brand new book!
This book was a real bargain and looked like it was new. I Love to purchase used books for my childrens summer reading. It came very quickly even quicker than promised.

Intelligent and creative
My fourth grader checked this out of the school library and we are reading it together. The stories are smart and engaging and each one gives us something to think and talk about afterwards. We especially loved "Follow the Water" by Jennifer L. Holm - emotionally complex and heartbreaking, we'll be talking about this one for awhile. Great book, great cause. We're buying our own copy.
