Great Boots - some sizing information.
For the people that are wondering about SIZE; here are my findings. The size chart for my measured feet suggested a size 9. I normally where size 10-10.5 running shoes which fit nice an snug (as they should). Because of this I was highly doubtful that a size 9 would fit me well so I took a chance and ordered a 9.5. The 9.5 fit quite well, it was somewhat snug on my slightly larger foot (most people have one foot that is slightly larger than the other). I was worried at first that a spot on the snug boot would cause rubbing problems but they wore in nicely and now both sides fit perfectly. Now for the pros and cons.Pros:They are exceptionally waterproof. I live in a State where is rains non-stop and I work outside for 3/4 of my day 10 hours a day. I have yet to end a work day with wet feet and I'm constantly stepping in large puddles of water.Materials are nice. They have a nice heel cup on the inside made out of some material which has a slight amount of tact to it that keeps my feet in place nicely. So far they have held up nicely, though its only been a few weeks (I'll update as time comes).Cons:The right boot (which is on my larger foot side) had an extremely slight material bulge at my pinky toe. I asked several friends to feel about the inside of the boots and tell me if they noticed anything. Most of them noticed the extremely slight bulge by the pinky toe that had something to do with the shoe lace retainer. That was my biggest worry but as I put miles on the boots they wore-in to the point that I now don't regularly feel anything on that side. The boots squeak. At first I thought the exterior squeak in the heel may be a small crack in the material which would lead to a leak. It only occurred after the boots got wet. After further investigating there's a small soft heel insert that goes to the outside of the boot and as you put full weight on your heel it indents outwards causing it to rub ever-so-slightly. It's a small negative but it's also a small positive because the extra heel comfort is quite nice, though I could go without the wet-squeak.All-in-all I'd give the boots a 4.5 out of 5 mostly because of the bulge in the material which I feel was a slight miss on quality control. I am enjoying these boots very much since they've worn in nicely.

Great boots
this is my third pair of these boots. The only problem I have ever had is the soles. They either broke in half or came unglued. But I still love the feel and the weight of them.

Super Comfortable Keen Boots
I love Keen shoes & hiking boots. They have a nice and wide toe box to keep your toes from getting crushed in your shoes. Allows for a natural spread of toes, especially while hiking. The sole is rugged and I haven’t experienced any slipping yet and I do a lot of winter hiking and snowshoeing. My feet stay nice and warm and dry.

Comfortable enough to put up with their flaws.
This is my 2nd pair of these Pittsburgh boots by Keen. The first pair I bought in Anchorage after trying them on. The first pair I got around 12 months of work out of. The left sole really didn't hold up. I had to use half a tube of Shoo Goo to get another month out of them. Laces only lasted a month or so. The supplied insole doesn't have nearly enough arch support for my feet . I have a high and long arch. I got a $ 320.00 set of orthotics at my chiropractor that works very well in these boots. Compared to the Viberg, White's and other high grade leather boots I historically have wore to make a living. These Keen's ain't much. But then they aren't nearly as expensive. However, these boots are COMFORTABLE for all day wear driving and loading the trucks and heavy equipment that I do as my work. I'm5'10" and weigh around 265 lbs and walk on lots of rough gravel, rock and plenty of very mucky mud. And climbing in and out of the cab of trucks up to 125 times a day. An minimum day is 30 round trips in and out of the cab of my truck . It has somewhat aggressive step treads. This new pair has taken about 4 days to mostly break in.These boots are Very slick on Cold ice ! Interior Alaska type cold . Not bad @ 32° F .

Poor quality, the old keen is no more.
I am sad to say Keen has lost the quality they once were known for. I bought a new pair of Pittsburgh boots at the beginning of September. Never used them on any hiking trails. Only used for normal walking around in the house and town. The worst these shoes saw was some flat dirt areas around my house. I don't use these for work and I never spent any time squared down in a way that would put pressure on the toe or bend the shoe in a way to put pressure on the sole glue to the shoe. I don't even ware them every day yet the seam around the toe box is coming apart.I am so unhappy with spending this much money on a so called "boot" supposedly made for hiking. Only to have it failing and complete coming abart after 2 ½ months of very light use. I spent $175 on these and it's not to much to think I would get more than 3 months of use out of them. I only wore these 3-4 days a week and a lot of that was just a couple hours after work, because I have steel toe work boots I use for my job. I have had Walmart shoes hold up better than these Pittsburgh's have..I recommend you don't waist your money and find another brand. I used to love keen and had more than one pair used every day last over a year. However my last 2 pair have fallen apart super fast. I WAS a loyal customer and gave them the benefit of the doubt, maybe I just got a fluke or a bad batch of glue. So I made the choice to buy this 3rd pair. But it's evident not the quality is just gone and they're still charging the same.

Great product
The product has great appearance. Fits great without having to wear it in. Holds up on tough jobs. Your feet don't get to sweaty nor sore after wearing them 11 hours a day. I honestly can't say there is nothing to dislike with this footwear. Very pleased with them.

Comfy Hikers!
These are my second pair of hikers, I walk in BC a lot and these have held up. The only reason I bought a second pair is bc I left the other pair in Alberta! They have been splunking and on long walks through wet grass and puddles! Won’t buy another hiker, please Keen, make these forever!! No break in time for both boots, that’s never happened with any other boot!!

Very disapointed with these boots
I am buying Keen boots for years now as I struggle badly with Plantar Facitis and always got relief from Keen boots. My feet got worse after buying these. They felt hard and clunky and never really broke in.I am ordering a different pair of Keen boots pair as I am hoping it was just a once off!

The best spended money.
Totally recommend, so comfortable and even the price was acceptable considering that you are going to be happy while wearing them.
