junk 10 hours of use and it got so hot the wires melted together and burnt the coil upIm gonna try this again and this time put a heat sink on it. All im using it for is to bump the idle up on a DC generator i built and it might be on 15 minutes at a time till the voltage goes back up to 13.8 volts then it shuts off. Ive got it mounted to a steel bracket apparently that was not enough of a heat sink for it sooo thermal adhesive and a 3 inch heat sink it along with it mounted to the steel bracket hope the heel that works cause this idea is a really nice gas saver and i dont have to mess with the Idle.

Purchased to push a prime button on a propane generator Garretson carburetor ([...]). Had a L braket mount 3-d printed. The chassis is precisely 0.97" x 0.97". The mounting screws are threaded for computer chassis screws (the fine threaded type). There are two mounting holes 0.752" away from each other (diagonally), 0.57" in the direction of the solenoid, and 0.49" perpendicular to the solenoidI purchased the 5N version first and this was not strong enough to push this button, this 20N one was fine. It gets hot after 5 second of actuation, so this is certainly not meant for continuous use (not without some sort of external fan or something)

To weak.

the unit I have says 305mA on the side, not 2A, but powering it with 12V 2A is working fine, and it's not heating up even when on for ~10 seconds, so maybe its just an incorrect sticker on the unit.The pictured slotted plunger can only be used for a pull function, but on there other side is a smaller, non slotted machine bolt w/ cap screw that can be used for push operation. I'm using it to push a button.

I ordered 6 and one was defective. I didn't try to return it as it was for a child's engineering project and we wouldn't get a replacement in time. We just worked around the failure. I suppose I was surprised at total failure in such a simple device, hence the 4 stars.

It satifies my needs.

Dieser Magnet ist als Zugmagnet vollkommen ungeeignet für alles was auch nur ein bisschen an Kraft benötigt. Die Kraft des Magneten reicht grad aus um die schwache Feder durchzuspannen.Kann vom Kauf nur abraten !!

Does what it is designed to do but no where near powerfull enough for my project
