SunSpire FruitSource Yogurt Almonds, 10 Pound Box

I am thrilled that Amazon carries Sunspire FruitSource yogurt almonds. I became enamored with this product almost 20 years ago when I discovered them at Whole Foods store in the bulk section. Since then, it's been hit or miss finding them at WF, so I turned to some local family-owned organic markets. Unfortunately, the local health food store that carried this is no longer open and the other organic markets carry a limited selection of FruitSource products so I'm ecstatic that Amazon has it-yeah Amazon!The product is just as I recall it. Big toasted premium almonds covered in a thick yogurt coating. I agree 100% with the other reviewer, these are less sweet than the white yogurt coating of the regular yogurt almonds. The reason it's a beige-y color is because it's made without refined sugars. I'm guessing that means no white sugars? Anyways, these are super yummy. As for the price and amount, while I don't need 10 lbs at a time, I'll just store it airtight and it ought to stay fresh for a while. The price is consistent or better per pound what you'd pay at a health food store.I hope Sunspire continues to make this and I hope Amazon continues to carry it.

These are absolutely the best yogurt almonds you will ever flap a lip over! They are really good and worth every penny. My sisters and I like to split a box and it is affordable that way. These yogurt almonds have only natural ingredients and fruit sweetened. Give them a try - you won't be disappointed! These are completely different from regular yogurt almonds. I would describe this yogurt covering as somewhat caramel-y. I never could stand the taste of regular yogurt almonds and always wondered what the big draw to them was. But these...oh my! Delicious!
