Love You MOM: doodle & dream: A beautiful and inspiring coloring book for Moms everywhere

My mom and MIL love it! I don't think the images in this book are the best (most are pretty random) but I bought it mainly because it was mom-themed and different from the usual gifts moms get. At first they both didn't have much of a reaction when receiving the book but once they tried it they both got REALLY, REALLY into it. As in one of them has already finished this book. It's a good gateway to the world of adult coloring books because though many of the images are pretty detailed they are not AS detailed as some of the other books I've come across. Also be sure to get you mom enough colors. I got them only a few colored pencils thinking they might just forget it on some shelf somewhere and got complaints of not enough colors. So yeah.

These are nice coloring books for adults. I purchased them for my daughter and myself, and we both enjoy them - it provides good therapy. I purchased colored pencils and fine tip markers to go with them. The paper quality is excellent, and the images are good quality. There is no bleed through to other pages. In my opinion the images are a little too detailed; though some may prefer that. I would recommend to a friend. the only reason I gave a 4 star is because of the detailed images - for me some areas are difficult to color because of the fine detail.

I purchased this as a gift and i have mixed feelings about the quality. The pages arent as thick as other similarly priced adult coloring books and there are quotes on the backside of each page. The quotes are a nice touch but given the quality of paper you can see them from the picture side. After taking the time to color in all the detail you dont want to see something showing through from the backside. Cute idea for gift giving but not the quality i was expecting.

My mom has always loved art, and never really got around to doing as much with it as she talked about wanting to. The book made a great gift and she really enjoyed it (and actually used it).That said, I'm not sure what your mom is like, but an art book with wildflowers, dragonflies, butterflies, and bumblebees on the cover is perhaps the most "my mom" thing I could possibly imagine.

Bought this for my mom, of course, and she has now joined the dark side of we adults who love to color. She loves it so much she called me evil because she'll start coloring and the next thing she knows and hour or so has passed by. I told her that's exactly what coloring should be, your zen for the day. She has really enjoyed this book as a starter and I have no doubt she'll stick with the fun.

I bought this for my mom as I have been coloring recently and she had shown interest. It arrived in the mail and I was looking through it and there are some neat designs, and she was thrilled to get it as a gift. One thing of note though....one of the pictures is of a vagina...!! Had I known, I may not have purchased the book. She hasn't said anything and I guess the drawing is in good taste and maybe she won't notice because of the design, but just thought I'd share!

I was so excited to receive this. The drawings are wonderful (simplistic) and this is a wonderful addition for those Moms that enjoy colouring. I bought this specifically to give to my mom (just FYI - I'm near 40, my mom is in her 60s). I mailed it to her out of the blue, she was so happy and emotional when she got it!Experience level: BeginnerMaterials: low to mid quality (gel pens can bleed through, but pages are one sided so it doesn't damage the following page)Cost/Value: worth the $10Final say - Buy it for your mom!!
