I did not want to spend 800 bucks on some professional lighting system for my wedding. We were already going to get a DJ with a few of his own strobe lights. All I needed was uplighting and I KILLLLLEEEEDDDD it lol. I did my own light for the wedding (Me and my groomsmen) but I purchased all myself. Everything ended up to around 400 which was these 8 lights 12 coolor changing flood lights, and some strobes and laser projector thing. Check our the pictures. And bonus you get to keep all of these ;)

I have purchased a set o8 8 lights for an event as support for my Chauvet wash lights. The lights have a cheap feel. They are made out of plastic, vert flimsy and not suitable for mobile DJs.I'm a mobile DJ and I can tell you that these lights will not going to be able to support the traveling and my enclosed trailer! even in a flight case they are already showing wear and tear after just a few events. The power cable is attach to the light and it is not a good one. One of them is already showing some twisting and it looks like it is going to come out of the light (it doesn't look good)The lights deliver acceptable brightness but they are not bright enough for big venues. My 2 Chauvet wash lights deliver more than this 8 combined with.The sound activation is too sensitive for my taste but it works acceptably.All an all it is a good purchase and you will be able to do some uplighting for a low cost. When I say uplighting we are talking about a small venues. This lights are not suitable for a big venue at all. Knowing that, go ahead and purchase but do not expect to obtain the results of having a $2000 set of Chauvet freedom which are the lights I prefer for that job. I think that I will continue renting those and save more until I'm able to do the Chauver Freedom Par.I will continue to update this review later.

HELLL YEAHHHHH............these lights are just fantastic for the price. I am a wedding DJ..........and I have bought the more expensive uplights. I can say I like these ones better. not only for the price.....but the light itself is awesome. easy to program.... light weight....easy to shuttle and carry. I liked them so much ive bought 3 sets of them. Through the summer did uplights through the whole reception hall using these.... totally magnificent. plus you can adjust them to the exact color you want to... great cheap way to go.

There are a FOUR lights in this product set.So I really like this product and gave it 5 stars but I do want to offer a few details and recommendations:The power chord to each light is short.Like on 32". I think another 2 or 3 feet would add value to the product.There are washers that come with the screws that go with the metal brackets you attach to the lights itself to help attach it to something or to give it legs. The instructions don't show you where the washer's go. Perhaps... 99% of the people in the world know how to use washers without instruction... but I didn't, so it might be a nice touch of value to include that information.The instruction manual is very general. I could have used a lot more detail. There is a lot of information that seems geared toward people who are really familiar with lights in the first place. Great. But what about the ones who aren't? One of my general areas of contrast improvement in all products is better manuals. I think a place for great added value is a better manual here.But... having said all that, I figured it out after a bit of experimentation, and got the lights to go on, change, and so forth. It's not really intuitive, so I had to figure some stuff out.Oh, one last thing, and I don't know if there is a setting for this or it's just the way it is. The lights can be set to SOUND, meaning they flash in time to music. The problem with this was that I needed to turn my sound system up to deafening levels to get the lights to respond. Not a big deal if you are playing music at that kind of volume, but a problem if you are toning it down just a bit.I like these lights. They were 25 bucks each, 4 for 100. UPDATE: Customer service was fantastic and friendly. They have remedied the problem I had with the two defective units. They handled everything very professionally and showed me that the customer comes first!I like these. They were easy to sync up to my ADJ MyDMX Go system, in-out links have low latency. They are bright and follow all commands. There is NO included instructions for what each DMX channel controls--making configuration a hassle on most standard DMX boards. They need to fix this.It's cool I got 8. I needed 8. But, only 6 of them work right. One of them doesn't work AT ALL and the other one has a defective display (some of the digits don't light up).**This was remedied. The manufacturer sent me replacement lights.
