The Book of Lines, A 21st Century View of the IChing the Chinese Book of Changes: Human Design : Discover the Person You Were Born To Be

When I had my reading done, I was given the line characteristics of my gates and I thought it was very helpful. This book now lets me give them to my friends and family. It's subtle, but interesting. For example my never married sister on her 6 line has the nuance rejects intimacy...bingo! Some of them seem relevant like "may or may not come up with helpful solutions", but I know the i ching is like that. And at the end it shows you how to throw the i ching which was very interesting for me. I'd say it's a good tool to have in your HD kit.

For me. this book is very difficult to read as a digital download. I suggest getting the book, or forget it.

If you have been a fan of Human Design or Gene Keys, this is a Great book to add to the collection. It gives fabulous visuals of each of the 64 combinations of Lines. Timely in making available a deeper understanding for each person who is investing in understanding the complexities of the world as held in the topography of their personal energetic fields.

I love Chetan Parkyn's work and had all his books except this one so I splurged and bought it. The volume is printed on better, glossier paper and in full color and I have full confidence in the quality of the information. But I find the presentation a little bewildering, and the content is less interpretive and helpful than similar information as it's presented in the work of others, for example Karen Curry Parker. The information about lines (and circuits) in her comprehensive book "Understanding Human Design" is much more accessible to me. I also appreciate that she provides a full picture of information in one book instead of my having to buy - and reference - several books.

Clear and concise description of the line in regards to how they define each of the Gene Keys that are in your Golden Path. Once that is conquered you can apply them to all of the keys and their relationship to every experience you have.

This is a book I refer to a lot lately, it is a staple in the HD. category. The author did an awesome job with this book, thank you Mr. Parkin!!!

Yet another great book to add to my library.

Well-written. Makes a challenging subject accessible. Best of the books that I’ve read about Human Design. I recommend this book to all seekers.

I love the way Chetan writes in poetic verse and is a master at leaving the space for you to meditate between the lines to what it actually means to you and how it fits together. So this book isn't just a summary of the Gates and Lines (useful for both Human Design and as a tool of the I-Ching) but it is also, a resource for meditations, each compact yet extremely profound. Take time and read between and underneath the many layers of wisdom. Love the design and layout as well, a must have for anyone in Human Design, a refreshing take on the normal jargon. Thank you!

I was initially skeptical but after going through few pages, I am very very impressed about the simplicity and usability of the work and information presented in the book.You could use the book for I Ching work or Human design.I strongly recommend the authors book on the modality Human Design as well.I have purchased several human design books, and Chetan's work is the best.
