Seems like a good product
As expected from the ad. Haven't convinced my cats to let me brush their teeth yet so I can't say if this is a better or worse toothbrush than others. They love the finger thing rubbed all over their faces, which is a good first step. I was worried it would have a rubber stink but it is odorless. Maybe I will update this once we get to the toothbrush & paste.Update: well, after a few more weeks, they still won't let me get more than a couple quick swipes to their teeth. They adore having their faces brushed though! Our cats don't wash each other so I guess the areas they can't lick on themselves (neck, around the eyes, around the ears) crave that scrubby cat-tongue sensation. We all enjoy these new grooming sessions hugely. The finger cover accessory is very chewy, and we have one cat who nearly needed surgery last year after swallowing a chunk of silicone from a visitor's phone case without being noticed, & getting seriously plugged up. I worry that he will eat this device too if I let him. I can't even use it on him or he just keeps gnawing at it (and not in a mild way like I could sneakily clean his mouth a bit- in a vigorous way that would puncture my finger if I didn't swiftly fend him off). So if you buy this or something similar, PLEASE never leave it unattended. Store it in a secure drawer. Stuff in in your pocket while you're using the other toothbrush tool rather than setting it down nearby. It only takes a couple seconds for a pet to eat something like this. You may think your cat is not a chewer, but ours didn't seem to be either, for 8 years, until that chunk of Otter Box and his apparent interest in this tool. Better be safe!I still hope to ease into tooth care eventually but even if all we ever do with this kit is facial grooming, I feel it was money well spent. My furbabies just light up when they see me pick it up!

Cats don't like it but vet assures me it's working
I can't say if the cats hate the flavor, having their teeth brushed, or if its both. However, after a yearly visit where our vet pointed out some early warning signs we bought this and began brushing every other day. At a recent checkup, we were told their teeth and breath was much improved and to keep doing what we've been doing. It's taken awhile and they still don't like the brushing but they've accepted it and cooperate somewhat.

Best Quality Toothbrush I've Found
I've tried numerous cat toothbrushes over the years, but the Nylabone cat toothbrush is by far the best. It's angled enough whereas it's easy to get to their back teeth. It doesn't just have regular bristles on it; the exterior bristles are rubbery and help massage the gums while the inner bristles are the traditional type ones.Fits well in my cats' mouths. But, it likely would be too large for a kitten or an adult cat with tiny teeth. I had a 12 pound cat who had the tiniest teeth and if she were still with me, I know this would be too large for her.Between using brushing my cats' teeth every other day and also scaling my their teeth as needed, my vet's been very happy with their teeth and we haven't needed to go in for the expensive, under anesthesia scalings in quite a long time. The blue bristled finger cap they include seems to be of better quality and has slightly softer bristles than other finger caps that I've seen included with cat dental kits. But, I've never had a cat with which the finger caps worked well; they seem to prompt the cat to bite down and you don't want that happening.

Good finger brush, tooth brush should be smaller
Echoing some other reviewers, here are things I am not so keen about:- Toothbrush looks nice in picture but it is a bit oversized for practical use. The brush head should have been smaller to actually fit easily into cat mouth.- Toothpaste: I still have a tube of chicken flavored CET toothpaste, so I haven't tried the paste on my cat. But the paste smells weird compared to the CET one, to me the CET one smells salty and closer to meat, but this one smells sweet. Although, I have not really tried it on the cat so cannot say how well it would work.I do like the finger brush. It is better than the one in the CET kit. The part that envelopes your finger is soft plastic whereas the CET one uses hard plastic for that. It also is very soft, so it won't upset the cat.

really good product - highly recommend for cats who don't like having their teeth brushed
I had other cat toothbrush/toothpaste. My cat HATED it before. When we bought this one, it had the malt flavored toothpaste. My cat seems to like this malt taste. He doesn't hate having his teeth brushed anymore. He still doesn't like it, but he doesn't hate it like he did with the other flavored toothpastes. I recommend this if you are having trouble with brushing your cats teeth.

Used it once and we're getting a tooth extracted
I can't say for certain if this caused our issue or not but 2 days after brushing his teeth for the first time, we are at the vet getting teeth removed! We bought this because he had stinky breath but besides regular plaque, didn't see any issues but had scheduled a vet appt for after the new year to see what was up.This arrived Dec 9th and finally tried using it the day before Christmas. We used the blue finger slip (that came all bent) and ever so slightly brushed the paste along his gums but didn't apply pressure to any of the teeth. We did, however, brush his tongue a little as we figured that was causing the bad breath. 2 days later, our handsome boy has a loose tooth that won't fit inside his mouth and we're at an emergency appt to get it removed because he is fiv+ and we can't risk a weekend of possible blood infection. Due to being fiv +, he is more prone to issues with meds to knock him out so he may be getting this removed without anesthetia! OUCH! The vet is guessing he may be allergic to an ingredient in the paste that caused all the inflammation and irritation. So, again, not saying this stuff made his teeth magically loose, but his reaction to the paste led to swelling, irritation, and quick removal instead of other approaches where we may have been able to have kept the tooth if this swelling/inflammation hadn't happened. So on that basis, i don't recommend this product.

Product good.
I would recommend if using this item to start when your fur babies are young. My elderly fur babies did not like having their teeth cleaned. Item is described accurately.

Works as described.
Fixed my old cat's bad breath within 2 uses, and her gums look a lot less red and inflamed than they did before. She doesn't like it much, but it's over and done with in 20-30 seconds anyway.
