CROMPTON 16 Galvanised Band & Hook Hinges"

Very robust and solid product. We have a wider than usual side gate which is about 2 m high and 1.2 m wide. These hinges do the job well. The original description by the seller online was a little misleading as it implied the hinges came with all fixings. There were two pictures, one of the galvanised and also one showing black hinges which had all the fixings on view. It did not state there were no fixings supplied with the galvanised product and in the Q/A section below the reviews, an Amazon Customer asked if they came with the fixings to which the seller had responded they did. When my hinges arrived there were no fixings and I contacted Amazon Customer services. The seller rapidly responded stating they are not supplied with the hinges but accepted the description was misleading and therefore kindly sent out a fixing pack. This arrived very quickly. I don't understand why these are not supplied with the hinges in the first place even if they need to charge a bit more which would be understandable and still represent good value. Overall the hinges AND the fixings are very good quality. Would definitely buy again!

These are perfect for hanging my garden gate and were easy to fit. The finish is rustic so it's probably best to fit them to the side of the gate that you won't see so much but the quality of the hinge suggests that it is robust and should last a long time. All the screws needed to fix it came with the hinge and were also good quality with the heads bot burring when being screwed into the wood. Functional rather than a thing of beauty.

Really sturdy well made hinges, just the job for hanging my (heavy) rustic gate

I did not need these and returning them cost more than the cost of the product. Most Amazon sellers issue a returns form this seller does not. Quality was good and they were 100% heavy duty.
