Dilmah Earl Grey Loose Leaf Ceylon Black Tea (125g)

Very good early grey

It's entirely subjective but Dilmah Earl Grey is the perfect Earl Grey to me. Medium to light on the bergamot which allows for the flavor of the tea leaves to really shine with a warm and very light sweet flavor. A touch "earthy" and no mouth dryness. I like mine especially strong. I would say it's got a middle of the road caffeine kick. The leaves are very coarsely ground so you get a consistent steep every time.

This is my favorite brand for Earl Grey but I had stopped buying them a few years ago due to Dilmah not using plastic-free bags. Was happy to find this! Tastes as wonderful as it ever did. I see they also now have organic but could not find that in loose leaf yet - very much looking forward to organic loose leaf!

The BEST tea there is. You have to understand, this tea is sent from the grower! This is the key, what you purchase in the store is tea from a distributor who buys in bulk & then cuts it like a drug dealer would to make it go further to make $$. Tea from Dilmah is untouched, full flavor & is absolutely luxurious. You really haven't tasted tea until you tasted Dilmah.

This is one great product according to my family.They are all big tea drinkers.

Item says "loose leaf" but in reality they are granules...also, the bergamot flavour is strong...not sure only 4.4oz is worth the price for a flavoured tea.

The best tea I have ever found. I appreciate and have a sense of gratitude every time I brew a new pot and enjoy that grand, hot, first sip sweetly warming me. Next, now that our first 90 degree plus days are here, I'll see how it stands up as ice tea.

I ordered two different teas and they were sent to me directly from Sri Lanka; very good quality and I can see and smell the plantations that I visited when I was there, what a gift, I felt like a child on Christman morning.
