This little box is exactly what I wanted. I have been wearing make-up for more years than I am willing to admit to, yet I have never managed to keep it all in one convenient place. Over the years I've stored my make-up in various baskets, bins, and boxes. I've used juice glasses and coffee cups to hold mascara, eyeliner, and lipsticks. Because my make-up was scattered among different containers, I invariably forgot some of it when I traveled. This terrific box brought an end to all that disorganization. What I love about it:1) A PLACE FOR EVERYTHING AND EVERYTHING IN ITS PLACE. I was able to to organize my makeup neatly by category in the fold-out drawers: foundation, powder, concealer, and blush in the bottom, makeup brushes and tools in the center, eye shadow and mascara in the top. ( I could easily fit two or more lipsticks in the box too, but since I reapply lipstick throughout the day, I tend to keep it in my purse instead.)2) LINED DRAWERS FOR EASY CLEAN-UP. Each fabric-lined drawer has a sturdy clear plastic cover on the the bottom, which makes wiping up smears and spills a breeze.3) BUILT TO LAST. I looked at many, many makeup boxes in person before buying this one online, and most of them were too flimsy. This great little box has sturdy metal supports for the drawers, and it folds out nice and straight. The box itself is well-made, with good quality hardware, and the case has some heft to it without being too heavy. I fully expect to get many years of use from this box.4) STYLE. In addition to being sturdy and practical, the Shany Mini Makeup Train Case is just plain cute. The quilted texture of the metal sides and top adds style and I love the girly pink color I chose.I noticed that some reviewers thought this makeup case was too small, but it is exactly right for me; I wouldn't want it any bigger. I actually keep my skincare items in another location, so I don't need a case that holds every product I use on my skin, just my makeup. I don't wear tons of makeup but do use all the basics: foundation, blush, powder, and eye makeup. If you want a case that holds everything you need to put your best face forward each day, this is the one.

I had a big Shany case in the past but I have downsized my makeup. This is perfect for an average amount of makeup, and it has a nice little mirror. It is very sturdy. I don't think it has a shoulder strap like the bigger ones, but I don't think you need it.The interior is hard plastic so it will be really easy to keep clean which is an upgrade from my old case.

Cute case ...good quality

Just received my case a few days ago. It feels very sturdy and is pretty well constructed. I didn't really think about how heavy it was going to be. It has a nice bit of weight to it, but that doesn't count as a negative for me since this will just be staying on my bathroom counter. I do wish it was a little bit bigger so it could hold all of makeup and accessories. They do sell a larger one but that seemed a little too big (& expen$ive) for my modest makeup collection. There were a few tiny dings and scratches on the case when it arrived but not enough to warrant sending it back IMO. Also the latch scratches away a little bit of paint each time it closes. In addition the mirror seems a bit superfluous. I have always wanted a makeup case, but the ones I liked (like this) were too expensive, and the ones I could afford were poorly produced. When I came across this cute case with an affordable price, I figured, "Why not-- it's worth a shot. If I don't like it, I can give it to my 13 y/o niece." NOT A CHANCE! I LOVE IT!! It's all mine!!It came before the expected time of arrival (ETA), and it holds a lot more make up than it looks in the photos. I was worried that the shiny black would be gaudy in person, but it is not. It has the perfect amount of shine, and an all over classy, sexy, trendy (but will never go out of style) look. It is well-made, designed for convenient organization, the bottom is lined with plastic for easy cleaning, and the clasp to keep it closed is highly durable, yet light weight at the same time.I am so happy with it, as soon as I filled it with my everyday makeup, I ordered the purple train case to hold items I have accumulated over the years. I cannot wait to play with that one too!!All-in-all: I HIGHLY recommend this and I plan to try more products SHANY has to offer! It is high quality, well made, and can be used to store just about anything. BUY ONE-- You won't regret it!

This product was smaller than expected. It’s a great product and easy to take with you on the go. My big issue with it is that all compartments open in one direction making the container tip over in one direction if not supported.

Nice makeup carry case. Has a lot of room for all of my makeup and toiletries. Will definitely order more for the teenagers in my family.
