Cedar One Step Stool (Straight Leg Style)

I love this stool, but please pay attention to the size. I needed it to get into bed after an upcoming knee surgery, but after getting it, I found out it was just too small. I didn't feel steady turning around on it, and I know I will be a lot more unsteady after the surgery, so I had to return it and get a larger one. It would be great for a child. it's very well made and looks really nice. I wish they had it in a larger, wider size. The only complaint I would have is that it's rather expensive.

Excellent craftsmanship, sturdy and the cedar has that wonderful aroma. For me at 5’2, it is perfect for second and third shelf kitchen cabinets, linen and laundry rooms as well. It measures at 7” high so remember, it only gives that little extra boost you may need.Comes fully assembled. Mine was crafted perfectly as opposed to some other reviews.

The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because I wanted to stain it. I did a light sanding of it before staining. They had some glue on the stool where part of the legs were glued together. They wern't very neat with the glue. I thought I could sand it good enough to take the stain. Nope, even after applying the stain and resanding I still couldn't get the glue off it. But I think it was to late to return after applying the stain. So if you get one and want to stain it make sure there is no glue. Other then that it's a beautiful stool.

Second one I've purchased. Exactly what it says it is. Sturdy, aromatic cedar and just enough height to more easily reach the top closet shelves. No assembly needed.

Quality is defined by this workmanship. The wood smell is fantastic. The step is sturdy, no wobbles and is low enough to slip under the bed when not being uses a step-up to get into a high bed.

This little stool is so well made with much attention to detail. Very sturdy with beautiful wood grain. That and it smells wonderful !
