Cheapest way to get all of the Crisis packs. B&B and F&F are must haves. Heroes gives some low cost ally ability options or one time scrap or victory point gains. This mechanic is interesting and gives you something to use extra money for. I might make them always available like explorers and see what dynamic that creates. Events just let you draw cards or get extra money to spend. It discourages stockpiling explorers and striving for deck synergy. I like the negative events where you have to discard though. Represents the entropy that exists in space. Regret buying events and somewhat the heroes. The heroes reward not building faction synergy in your deck to get a one time ally ability amongst other effects. It betrays the strategy of a deckbuilding game by allowing you to mix your deck up too much. It should be a gamble to invest in a single faction or two because the trade row is never the same. I feel like some of the B&B and F&F ships need modified values.

Fun game -- just make sure to increase your health pool! This expansion packs a punch.
You should increase your health pool to about 100 if you get this expansion and add it to your deck. Played it with 6-7 different friends who figured it out pretty quickly and all enjoyed it. The game gets incredibly intense as your deck builds up and this expansion changed the stragety quite a bit -- more focus on draw cards, using ally abilities to do insane amount of damage, and then bases. I've had a turn where I just drew 12 cards from draw-a-card effects that kept stacking and suddenly you're hitting someone for almost 40 damage.VERY FUN and easy to understand. Addicting. Played with magic players and hard core yugioh enthuists, and complete card game newbies who all enjoyed it and the variety of styles this game offers to play. This expansion was worth getting. Although I don't like the heroes as much but they are useful in certain situations. The event cards make the game unpredictable.

Worth the value to keep fresh cards coming out of the deck
It's just funny that everytime this game tries to add new cards types it just falls flat. Heroes and other nonsense just don't make the game that interesting while adding new ships and bases does. Most games that's the opposite effect. I understand why they attempt new card types, but they just don't make anyone excited.......

Amazing addition to the game
Amazing game if you don't want to build a card deck like you have to with Magic and some other card games. I play it all the time with 2 to 4 people. It helps to have another deck when you play with more then 2 people so everyone gets the correct amount of starter cards suggested in the rules. Play is well paced. It is not to slow or fast.

Skip the bundle.
Bases Battleships and Fleets Fortresses are must haves. The other two expansions are "meh." If it's cheaper, just get the first two and skip the bundle.

Worth it for the Bases and Fleets Cards
We play star realms frequently, so sometimes it is nice to change things up a bit. The Bases and Fleets cards are great. Less impressed with the Events and Heros, but all in all a good purchase.

A great addition to a fun game. It helps to add more variation to a highly replayable card game.

Nice addtion to a fun game.
Nick addition to Star Realms. Event cards affect all players when turned up and they are resolved immediately. Leaders go into play as soon as purchased and can make your attacks stronger with the right, matching ships. If you like Star Realms, this is a fun add on for a new dimension of play.
