Fluff & TuffSavannah Baby Gator

My schnoodle, pippin, is 8 years old now, and since puppyhood he has adored the “quackadile” (as we named it, since it sort of “quacks”) He actually started imitating its squeaky noise, and walks around with it in his mouth and singing his Quackadile Blues. We have kept replacing it when it tears open, but it lasts surprisingly long - a couple years of constant play with each new version! I highly recommend it.

I’m not sure what it is about this alligator but it’s my dog’s favorite toy of all time. He likes to grab it by the tail and swing it around or throw it across the room. My dog is very gentle and it still looks almost new after years of playing with it. I bought a back-up just in case something happens to it, but if your dog is gentle this gator will last forever.

Note: the description says this toy is 7" long. However, that is its size inside the packaging with the tail curved around. If you stretch its tail out, it's about 13" long.I bought this toy about 5 years ago and it's still going strong, unlike other toys that my dogs tear apart within a few days.This alligator is my male chihuahua's favorite toy. He plays with it every day, and he often has tugs of war with my female chihuahua. It has been left in the garden to be rained on, it even got run over by a lawnmower twice and had two gashes cut into its outer skin by the blades, but I sewed them up and it was as good as new. I just bought a replacement here at Amazon, just in case it ever gets lost, because my dog loves it so much.The secret is a flexible but tough synthetic mesh liner that will not tear (even when a lawnmower runs over it). The toy looks and feels like a standard plush toy, and while it's probably not literally bullet proof, I think it's as close as you can get.I've owned dogs for over 30 years and I've seen dogs go through lots of toys, but I've never seen a dog toy this tough.

This is a very sturdy, durable chew toy. Snoopy the beagle can usually separate the seams of a toy within a couple of days and squeakers don't last as long as the factory took to install them. "Allen Gator" has lasted several weeks and at least one trip through the washing machine. Snoopy is not a violent chewer - just very persistent and efficient. "Allen Gator" is the first toy he runs for when we arrive home after a time away. Snoopy fully expects that we throw Allen and try to get it away from him (sometimes involving a bit of tug-o-war) so we can throw it again. I highly recommend this toy for playful dogs. Snoopy agrees.

I bought this dog toy for my two neighbors dogs. It does have a squeak but it’s not bad or annoying. Both dogs seem to be enjoying the toy. They greet me at the door carrying it, which I think is the seal of approval.

I have a pit bull and German shepherd. And they can destroy a new toy in minutes! And I was so surprised to see this has survived 2 weeks already! And no sign of rips. Definitely 10/10!
