Yes, it would beyond words awesome if the eyes lit up. But they don't, so just add that to the heap of disappointments in your life.On the bright side, the lighter still looks fierce, and it works far better than a couple others I tried (and returned) for my VW CC (which I assume has the same lighter setup as all recent VWs). I had to remove a small rubber ring, as the instructions said would be necessary for many cars, and that took about 5 seconds. The lighter heats quickly and works well.

Totally ROCKS!!!
I just bought a new 2014 Dodge Charger, black, and I dont smoke but I had to have this lighter. It fits perfectly and is only for decoration but does work just fine if I needed to use it. I have the skull license plate frames, skull tire valve covers, and the skull gear shift knob to match. The quality is good and with minimal use it should stay nice and shiny for a long time. Great deal for the money and it looks expensive!!!

It does not work as lighter but I kept it because looks cool in my car. It is the first time I am not with product purchased on amazon.

Unique find at a reasonable price
It's a lighter, not much to say except that it works (in a Dodge Neon), isn't the standard boring lighter. I personally am not a big skull fan, but I got it for my son's car as part of a much needed interior "makeover" and he really likes it. Can't beat the price and with Amazon Prime's 2-day shipping it saved me a day of running to find something as unique.

works great!
Works great and I like the big skull head when using it as it gives you something big to hold onto so you do not drop it when using it. Also, it does not take long for it to heat up unlike the standard lighter which came with my truck. I might get a couple of extras for spares.

It's a $7 lighter with a skull that works as advertised.
Required a bit of adjustment to work properly. I suspect the complaints that it didn't "hold" in when you push it were because people didn't read the directions. A slight bit of adjustment to my car and it works better than any I've had previously.I'm surprised a little by it's overall size, but it's grown on me.
