The ball head, when tightened with all my strength, is still easily manipulated. Was unable to handle the weight of a 7" monitor.Also, the adhesive rubber coating on the clamp itself slipped off within the first hour of use, causing cosmetic marks on new equipment. Although the clamp is tight, this means that it can slip whilst the rubber grips stay in place.Would be okay to use with extremely light items in a bodged setup
