Simply... OUTSTANDING.
This set works EXACTLY as advertised.Using it to provide network services to my solar installation, which is 100yds remote in a field on my adjacent property.I installed an industrial-grade weatherproof enclosure under my arrays and mounted the bridge at the top of the rack. The AP (the node that connects to the local LAN) I just mounted to the side of my house. This set is rock-solid, through about 50yds of heavy, thick woods. Hint: if you want to shoot through trees, be sure to get the 2.4gHz version; 5gHz is much more affected by obstructions like foliage etc.Installed a high-end unmanaged switch in the remote enclosure, and PRESTO! The Tycon set provides seamless, transparent DHCP assignments within... and this is really notable... WITHIN THE LOCAL LAN'S NAT TABLE. The devices on the remote side show up as wired devices as if they were plugged directly into my home's router. The units' built-in Web interface works flawlessly, one can access settings on both units from the comfort of any Web-enabled device that's latched to the local network.Another remarkable feature... I did absolutely NOTHING in configuration to make all this happen. All I did was turn off the wi-fi SSID on both units so they would not broadcast their presence.Insanely useful devices. I cannot say enough about the niche these things fill.Very, very strong work, Tycon.UPDATE: TWO FULL YEARS LATER... through two full Northern Maine winters, devices completely exposed to the weather... still working as well as the day I put them on line. I am a network engineer by trade, and I find ZERO faults with Tycon's execution in this use-case.

POINT TO POINT NETWORK EXTENDER - EASY SETUP!
I bought this about a year and a half ago and wasn't able to install it until tonight.Installation was an absolute breeze. I plugged the LAN cable into the POE device and then plugged Unit A into the POE port and powered up the unit. I then waited a couple minutes until I heard the two beeps indicating the unit was on. Next step, I headed down to my remote office which is about 500 yards away for the house. I repeated the steps listed above with Unit B and plugged the network cable into my desktop PC.The two units connected up immediately giving me internet on the PC. Next, I ran the internet speed test and it topped out just under 100 mb. We have 300 mb at the house and these units pushed it to the advertised max.I then moved the network cable to my router and had my wireless and hardwired devices all talking. Initially, my desktop was showing that it had no internet but it did. I restarted my PC and the network icon displayed this time and all was good to go. This was just something quirky with my PC and network, but had nothing to do with the units. The reboot was all it needed.I am very happy with this setup as we have been using a hotspot at my remote office for years. Now we are one big happy network! This unit rocks.PROS -Extremely easy to installGreat throughput at 100 mb as advertisedConnected instantly at 400 yardsCONS -They could give a bit more space on the bottom of the AB units for the ethernet plug and cable to clear the cover. With a little finesse it is fine, but it would be so easy for them to give a little more space. The point where the unit attaches to the bracket could be beefed up with a little metal ring to make the unit a bit tighter when mounted. Again not a problem, but could be a bit better.I highly recommend this product and would definitely buy again. It will pay for itself in a few months at the cost of a hotspot or direct internet connection. All said, this is a great unit!

Easy peasy setup. Great connection and bandwidth
I mounted bridge "B" on my he-shed about 900 feet from our home wifi. Mounted bridge "A" in our attic. Roughly pointed them at each other and connected poe and LAN cables to home wifi and new hot spot in he-shed.Worked perfect. About a 900-foot run (Three football fields) and the bandwidth is great. We have home starlink which bounces around 150 MB down, 25 MB up. At the he-shed my first speed test was 90 MB down and 25 MB up. Perfect. I created a wifi mesh at the he-shed and now we have internet access in the back pasture and my he-shed office. I am a retired IT engineer, and I appreciate well thought technology that just works. I am impressed with this wifi bridge.
