K Laser Tape Measure with backlit digital screen, a combination of a laser measure and a tape measure 165ft

The media could not be loaded.  Uploaded a video of the box and contents as well as the laser measurement tape in use combined with how accurate it is. It's my first video without any tripod, so pardon the quality! There's a lot about this product which isn't perfect, but I think some of the design/features make up for it, and the price is very nice. I've bought several laser measurement tapes in the past; none have thrilled me with their accuracy. This one is unique in the sense that not only does it have the laser, but it also has the tape. For things that need pinpoint accuracy, I would still use the tape. For estimates or distances that are too long for a tape to easily measure, the laser is way more convenient and accurate enough. One observation: the LCD screen actually reads the length of the tape that you pull out, but it's only accurate if you pull it out relatively slowly. If the manufacturer is reading this review, just drop that feature. It's not necessary as we can read the tape just fine, and the fact that it's only accurate if we pull out the tape slowly means we won't really use it. Drop the feature, and I promise no one will miss it.

I bought this in used in what they called like new condition it was supposed to come with the original packaging. but there was no instructions and the charging cable had a lose fit and would not charge properly I had to keep moving the cable around until it made a connection and try not to move it. So I just got another cable to make it work I got some partial instructions from YouTube I would think twice before buying used again. The manual tape works great, the electronic tape readings are good but the laser is a little harder to use to get the right reading. Love the tape but would buy new to save my self some problems

This tape is EXTREMELY hard to lock the blade, pure Chinese junk. That's one issue, the other issue is that the laser is pointing very wrong. just look the black circle where the laser is suppose to pointed to, all wrong. This is the dilemma that we face buying things online, we cannot try a device before buying it, but also here is where Amazon is the King, just sent it back, no question ask.The USA in first place, and the rest of the of the world is the backyard where the Chinese dump all their junk!

This measuring tape has a neat laser feature, but I live in a hot, sunny climate and found that the laser can be very hard to see in the sun. I do a lot of outdoor measuring, so this is important. The tape part could have each foot marked off, but it does not. For these reasons I gave it a "4" instead of a "5" -- it holds a charge for a long time and is otherwise easy and convenient to use.

Won’t charge and red laser doesn’t work. I am very disappointed in this purchase. For the price paid and the long delay in receiving this item you would expect it to work. I can’t send it back because I need it for work but if I didn’t need it right away I would send it back.

Can not use laser without it showing errors, the tape will not lock after a few times using. For the money I could have saved and bought just a regular tape measure.

My husband has been asking for a new measuring tape. He has enjoyed the laser capability in addition to the traditional tape measure.

It is the complete measuring item. It even has memory of previous measurements.

Although I have laser measures the traditional part of me can’t get away from using a classic tape measure. It’s just what I’m used to and has the right feel in hand and in use. This covers both those bases, a heavy duty hefty tape measure combined with laser functionality. There is a simple led screen (it’s large and clear to read which was one of the selling points for us) that displays either the distance measured from the tape or from the laser measure itself. It’s cool that when you use the physical tape measure it shows the reading on the screen, and with a touch of a button you can switch between different units of measure – feet, inch and cm, very useful versus converting on your own. There’s even two spots where you can save distances to combine or use for later reference. I don’t believe it says so anywhere but it’s actually rechargeable by standard micro usb – although we’ve been using it heavily for the last couple of weeks during renovations and it hasn’t needed to be charged so it seems it’ll go the distance before needing to do so.

Ok I have to be honest. Im not the type who will throw great or horrible reviews. Just honest!As a measuring tape, its a very good, solid measuring tape. If you pull it out, it'll reach a good 7 feet before it breaks and the measurements are accurate.I really like the fact that the digital measures can be taken from the front or from the back of the tape. which helps a lot when it comes to measuring windows, doors, pretty much anything that's opened or incased.NOW, unfortunately, the laser measurements can be really really off, especially the further you go.If it's a close measurement, your chance to have a clean accurate measurement increases.Cause it isn't bad when it's a close measurement. Like a couple of feet, a meter or two. But the further you go the more off the measurements becomes. That's the only sad part.But I'm not going to say that it's not a good measuring tape, cause that's absolutely untrue.But they would need to work on their laser technology.But I'm still satisfied with it, cause it helps a lot in many ways if you put aside the laser.The laser is just 1 option in many that this tape offers.It's a good tape to consider, especially if you like woodworking like I do, cause it really helpsI still like it!so there are your Pros and Cons.Thanks

I ordered them last January 2020 and seldom use the product because of Covid. This is not a cheap laser measuring tape it cost appox Cnd $80.00 plus tax . Today, I went out and use it and it broke. The connection at the end is so weak..see picture. It should have been anchored safely to think that the blue case itself is heavy. I felt so disappointed and its not worth the price. Is there a way I can be compensated, a replacement?Thanks!Mae

It was good for 3 monthsonly barely used it, now it doesn't even recoil. No refund option is available either.
