I have tried and tested many different brands of Emu Oil, ranging from the dirt cheap to uber expensive. Expensive for the sake of being expensive and attempting to create an ethos of exclusivity higher standards by saying it does this or that, is mixed with the latest "magic snake oil" as seen on insert popular at the moment talk show hosts name here. Is collected from emus who are raised on a private tropical island, given hot stone massages and sung lullabies by world renown philharmonic tenors nightly type deal, you get the drift. Fact is so long as its Pure Emu oil with no extra additives and is 99.999% pure (the other fraction of % usually being naturally occurring tocopherols that preserve the oil), it's all the same. With that being said....Progressive Emu PRO EMU OIL (4 oz) Pure All Natural Emu Oil - AEA Certified - Made In USA - Best All Natural Oil for Face, Skin, Hair and Nails. Excellent for Dry Skin, Burns, Sunburns, Scars, Muscles and Joints is awesome! Its high quality pure Emu Oil minus all the advertising hype fake claims and is at a very reasonable price point, most likely because private tropical islands and world renown philharmonic tenors or costly ;). In all seriousness this is a wonderful product at a great price. Its an American made and refined product and is AEA (American Emu Association) Certified.Its benefits.... if your checking into Emu Oil then I suppose you have already read some literature on its benefits for whatever you're seeking it to help you with. There is a ton of information around the web on it. I will say this it works! Whether you use it for hair loss to treat burns scars or just as a moisturizer to help with lines and wrinkles. The extent it will help you individually ....I can't say everyone biological makeup and reaction to anything is different. I wouldn't go into it expecting overnight miracles, but will say pound for pound it's the best bang for your buck. Again read up on the science behind.... it how it works.... and its benefits. It's AMAZING for your hair and skin in all regards. In fact those flamboyant "miracle skin doctors" and " skin consultants to the rich and famous" you know the ones who have late night infomercials, 5 year waiting lists, reality tv shows, commercials, and pull up to a celebrity's home in a new Rolls Royce, then give them a secret facial treatment "serum" for $5,000 a pop? They all have one thing in common they use emu oil and know its benefits. The difference is they use hype paid celebrity endorsements and smoke and mirrors. They prey upon people's gullibility and willingness to part with their money for pipe dreams and put the same oil offered here in a solid gold bottle and charge you incredulous amounts of money. I guess everyone has to make a living somehow right ?BOTTOM LINE: Get it!!! It's a great product from a company that stands behind it, and is committed to quality and above board practices. At a great price! Don't overpay for marketing spins shiny artisan bottles and claims of grandeur .

First off, I have "unique" skin..EXTREMELY dry and VERY sensitive. I've lost track of the thousands of dollars spent over the years trying to find products that I don't react to that will also provide enough moisture to my skin. My skin is so dry that, if I don't get some kind of moisturizer on my skin after showering within about 5 minutes, it actually BURNS, tightens up and hurts the rest of the day :( My face is even more sensitive. I have rosacea which causes extreme sensitivity, enlarged pores and severe dryness and redness. I've put together a skin care regime from about 10 products from various companies which, from trial and error, see to work in harmony without causing a severe reaction.What was missing was the extra moisture I need. My skin is so dry, I have to put at least 8-10 applications of moisturizer on my face in order to keep my skin from drying out the rest of the day and flaking.I read about Emu oil and wondered if it would be of any help at all since I'd already tried Argan oil, Rosehip oil, raspberry seed oil and a few others with minimal success.With the Emu oil, I noticed right away it absorbed well, didn't burn my skin and felt immediately soothing. I apply a small amount 3 times between my other products and its the first time in years and years that my skin will actually stay moisturized all day! Nothing short of a miracle for MY skin. About 4 days into use, I noticed that the skin on my face was actually SOFT for the first time in years! Also, the size of my pores is shrinking which is a HUGE benefit since this condition has gotten so much worse in the past 3 or 4 years.I'm SO glad I took a chance on this product! It's a keeper for sure and I figure if it works on MY crazy skin, it should be great for those with normal skin with simply issues with dryness :)Even with the unusually large amount I have to use, I feel the price is fair given the quality and compared to expensive, designer creams and lotions which produce often minimal to no results.With Amazon's return policy, I never worry about getting "stuck" with anything that doesn't work so if you are considering trying this, you have nothing to lose :)

I have oilier skin but live in a very dry place so my skin has slowly become irritated and I need some kind of moisturizer. I am so happy I tried this as a "last resort" other products are greasy, cause me to break out (acne) but this goes on and feels oily but then just absorbs. My facial redness is much better and my skin doesn't feel so irritated and tight. I use it twice a day now on my face and hands and I am so pleased I gave this a try.Great product and made in the USA.

A local health store suggested Emu oil for my painful Tennis elbow and so I looked to Amazon and chose Progressive. It did virtually nothing for it after weeks of daily rub downs. I bought a Thera-Flex Bar that finally gave me some REAL relief from the nagging tendinitis. However, the emu oil was great for my wife's dry peeling feet. Fast forward a couple of months and one achey knee (thanks to blowing it out motocrossing as a teenager) and i saw the emu bottle, read where it was also good for arthritis. Rubbed some on and in a couple of days I forgot about the pain. Pain still gone and no Motrin! None!!My wife played Softball from peewee thru High School and has achy shoulders so I experimented and tried it. Pain gone!The weird thing is the absence of scent or any type of "warming" sensation but it just works. Getting a bottle for my mother in law's knees. Amazing stuff!
