Very nice ESD work mat
The size is nice, not to small, not to big. The wrist strap is has an alligator clip so it can be attached to the mat anywhere along the mat's edge. I was impressed with the mat's thickness. It stays put on the work bench, yet rolls-up for easy storage.

stinks for aobut a month but works
Happy that I went this route to get a very large static mat.

Huge compared to others at this price.
This mat provides a huge comfortable safe work area at the best price! Rolled out nicely flat and happily no chemical odor.

Great quality 1/3 the price of other brands
Great quality at a fraction of the price of alternatives. Comes rolled up and kind of keeps its shape, but with some gorilla tape on the edges stayed down beautifully

Terrible smell
This mat smelled so bad it gave me a headache. I would have taken it outside immediately, but I had urgent work to get done. After one day of use, the mat smells just as strongly. I removed it from the house at the end of the day, but the smell now lingers -- it seems that the chemical has contaminated the workbench.

Best I've ever bought!
These are great! Thicker than most and blue side held my coordinating stamps!

Good mat for the money!
Product is perfect size for ATX mid-tower project. Does a great job knocking down static threat. Mine did have a stronger smell (not intolerable), but I guess from the material that can be expected.

Very Good For 20$
Well I thought this would be just alright, but it's very good for the price and heat-resistant too.You can burn it if you try with a soldering iron but hot air and drops to solder should be fine. There are other mats similarly priced like the star tech one that will just melt if a blob of hot solder touches it.It is resistive, so it should dissipate ESD on a grounded metal table or by grounding it out to earth ground by attaching a lead.I'd buy another if I needed too it's pretty big and thick for 20 bucks.

Perfect size for a desk work area.
Greatat for the price. A bit smelly at first. Clean it a few time with a strong spray cleaner....

Doesn't lie flat
It is still partially rolled on the edges. Back was also pretty cheap. It will do what I want it to do. I only needed something cheap to leave printed circuit boards on.

Large and durable surface, too thick to roll flat consistently, no actual ESD grounding strap
Has a very rubbery smell to it that doesn't leave, even after a few weeks. Mat is thick enough that it won't lay flat, even after leaving out to flatten for a day. The listing title has "ESD," which is kinda misleading. It does not have any sort of ESD grounding strap.Surface is large and good to work on though, so not a bad work mat if your plan is to just place it and not roll it up when it's not in use.

Nice large mat
This is a awesome mat for soldering, hobbies an what have you. Roll it out, let sit for a day to let flatten and away you go... I would buy again
