CAi Networks WebControl Universal Industrial Controller

No complaints at all. Easy to configure and hook up accessories.Still playing around with this one and trying to determine exactly what I'm going to use it for. I've got several ideas in mind for some automation projects but I've also got some Arduinos and RasPi's laying around that I've been messing with recently as well. I may combine them all and see if I can get them talking or puling data from each other. This is a great and very capable product and I don't regret buying it at all. I'll try and remember to update this review once I decide what I'm going to end up using it for and how that specific setup, config and install went.

So I really like the product and I'm giving it a five star rating. It works exactly as required and advertised. My only complaint is that finding an enclosure has proven challenging. Not really their issue I know, so I can't knock them on the score for that. The interface is simple and effective, and for what you're getting, it's great.

This is an easy to use, programmable little PLC controller. Its newest firmware with bootloader, so that user can remotely update the firmware without shipping it back to manufacture. Manufacture told me they will provide a free firmware update for Smarthome sold boards. Its hardware is latest 2.2.2 revision.PLC programming is great and easy to do. It does not support parasite temperature sensor; non-parasite temperature sensors work fine with this board.Good quality 9V power supply is needed as power source for this board. If you use a 5V relay board sharing the same power supply, it is better having LM7805 to regulate the 9V power to 5V. That regulator will prevent the noise from relay board interference the webcontrol plc operation.SmartHome has good reputation and policy to support its customers.TP-LINK TL-WR702N can be used as wifi client bridge, so that this controller can be placed anywhere having wifi access.
