Nostalgic at best
I bought these thinking they would be as cool as I remembered. They weren't, in fact the software is outdated, and I had a hard time installing them on my newer PCs. The game play was frustrating and not easy to manipulate. Basically technology has changed so much that your initial instinct on how to play the game is not usually correct. We had to learn by trial and error, mostly error. It was overall not a fun and rewarding experience, forget about educational. We spent more time trying to figure out how to play the game than we did learning anything.

It can be a little confusing for a child at first but once they figure it out it's fine
If I could I'd give it a 2.5 stars I would... ONLY bc the way i recieved it, the packaging wasnt good enough, the case was cracked/broke in 2 places and the cd wasn't even secure inside the case, it was falling all over the place, HOWEVER so far my kids are enjoying the games

Great game, but not quite as much replay appeal as I'd hoped
Solid, fun learning content wrapped in an adventurous quest. Daughter didn't replay it as much as I'd hoped, but she liked it the first few times.

Good for younger kids
Reader Rabbit keeps them interested when they are very little. They still like the programs in 2nd grade but not as much as when they were younger. The characters apeal to younger children. Still anything that helps is good.

LOVE IT!
Product is one of the best CD's for learning, I have ever purchased. Would recommend this to anyone trying to encourage their child to learn.
