Has anyone used these to hold a winter coat or jacket? Did the adhesive stay? Was the plastic hook strong enough not to break?

I bought one of these 10 months ago to hold towels in my bathroom. I have never had anything heavier than that on it but it seems very sturdy. In a bathroom there is high humidity from the shower and if anything was going to loosen the adhesive, that would do it and it has not budged at all. I wouldn't hesitate to hang a jacket or coat on it. The adhesive seems very strong. Hope this helps.

These Worked great until my 2 year old ripped it off the wall and broke the clear plastic anchor. Can you purchase just that piece?

This appears to be a weak point since many users ask about replacing that piece. I've also had it happen twice. How wasteful that 3M knows of this issue but continues to offer the entire package only.

Does anyone know if Command makes and sells just the plastic piece on the back side of hook where the strip gets mounted? I break or misplace them.

That has happened to me too. I just keep buying them as a whole, never seen them sold in parts.

Does this product come packaged with any strips?

Yes!! If I am recalling correctly, there were two sticky strips in the package.
