Not as expected
This book is more for a young person starting out in the adult world; Not for an adult whom needs a bit more complexity.

Money well spent.
As parents, all we can do to fight our socialist public education system is supplement and enhance the education of our own kids. Until this book and series are required in all high schools, along with a full suite of economic education classes for all four years, enlightened parents will have to buy this book on their own - but be assured, it is money well spent.

Math level is too low for MS or HS but would be great for sped math to address "adulting" concepts
The content is ok but really to low level for my general use. The first half is very elementary math concepts right down to teaching coins and bills. Then it jumps to MS/HS concept "ideas" but keeps the math very very low (probably still elementary to low middle school math skills. So, this could be a great resource for sped students to still address these "adulting" topics while supporting math deficiencies/struggles. However, there is alot of print. So, if they also struggle with reading, the teacher may need to pair down or highlight important text to accommodate. Now that I have seen the content, I plan to keep it on hand as a resource for sped students.

Great for learning basic finance
Purchased both books to teach my daughter basic finance. Great books! The questions are relevant to subjects and answers are found in the back.
