- Place the Miter Divider against the inside or outside corner you want to match. - Adjust the angle by moving the arms until each arm is flush against the surface. This process sets the angle onto your Miter Divider. The angle will be held in place by friction. If the joint becomes loose, lightly tighten the nut. Note: if your corner is too shallow to measure using the Miter Divider, use the Small Angle Tool. - Transfer the measured angle to a piece of scrap lumber, being careful not to change the angle between the arms. - The bottom lip of the Miter Divider should line up with and overlap the factory - cut edge of the scrap lumber. - Trace a line along the inside edge of the Miter Divider starting at point A, to B ending at point C.

Works as expected.
This item does what it says it will do, but I can do the same things with a couple tools I already own. I take my t-bevel gauge, put it on the angle, draw the sides of the angle, then use my protractor to draw 2 partial intersecting arcs, then set the t-bevel to the angle of the line intersecting the intersecting arcs and use that on the chop saw.

Too much labor
Made a mistake of buying this. It's too labor intensive. Plus you have to buy extra material to make a practice on every cut. Go on YouTube, much easier ways to do these cuts.

Making accuracy easy
As a builder, and home do-it-yourself'er, I found this product to be easy to use, and gave me very accurate cuts. The pictures in the instructions make it easy to follow, and it made the whole issue of measuring an angle, dividing, it, and trying to make sure you had it right before cutting a nice piece of molding, easy.I recommend this to novices and builders alike.

Made my job easier
I've been working on my house for five years painting and putting up crown moulding in each room. Who knew that mouldings could be so easy? I got the miter divider, and finished 2 bedrooms in 2 days. Very easy to use, and takes all the math out of it. I love this product.
