NO GUNK Matte Lava Clay - 100% Natural Hair Styling Clay For Men - Strong Hold - Natural & Organic Ingredients (Jasmine, 50g)

I’m a red head coming from o douds matte equivalent. This comes out more oily than it does like a clay. Scent is weird to me. And it makes my hair look greasy. Could be because I’m a red head. But I just feel there’s too much oil in this to really be a matte finish, and it has almost no hold for me. Again maybe because I’m a redhead. Doesn’t give me the textured look I’m going for. Have to spray my hair with sea salt spray after to avoid looking too shiny/oily. I would classify this as light hold medium shine. If that’s what your after then it’s a good product.

I had searched endlessly for a hair product that was truly natural and safe in every way, and was delighted to find No Gunk. Originally I was confused about the use of "parfum" in the scented version, but the company clarified the specific ingredients which are indeed natural. I use this clay whenever I want a firm hold, as it is very firm for a natural product - which is what I was looking for!

Really like this product. Have to work it in well to avoid particles in hair. Like the solid hold. Rollercoasters and rain have been the only foils.Wish the container were a little bigger or price a little lower.

Just wish it was stocked state side to cut down on delivery time. Have to remember to order ahead of time, or my hair will be a mess. Good stuff, does the job, no chemicals, matte finish depending on hair type and other products.

Finally a natural hair clay that works. A little goes a long way. Works great for my hair. My only very minor complaint is that I think it smells like Playdoh.

This product is wonderful. It does everything it is supposed to and has no misleading or hidden ingredients. I get style without comprising my health or ethics. Big bonus for a truly unscented option.

Good hold, easy to wash, matte look. No chemicals, which is quite rare in hair styling products.Bought the original scent which was bad for me. Will try the unscented.

Après avoir utilisé des pâtes/cires/wax telle que Redken et American Crew, je considère que la pâte bio No gunk les surpasse largement. Premièrement, pas de produits chimiques sur les cheveux. Deuxièmement, la pâte fixe très bien (dans mon cas, cheveux mi-courts sur le dessus), elle n'a pas d'odeur désagréable ou notable et SURTOUT elle donne un effet naturel incomparable : presque impossible de voir que j'ai mis une cire coiffante, c'est bluffant. Le pot est petit en contenance mais il n'est pas nécessaire d'appliquer une grosse quantité de produit, une noisette chauffée et malaxée dans les doigts suffit dans mon cas. Pour ma part, plus jamais je n'achèterai autre chose que cette cire. Adieu les perturbateurs endocriniens sur la tronche.

Love this product, took a while to get used to it, I’ve got thick hair which I mess up, this dose the job well, took a couple of days to work out how much to use as this feels completely different to any other product I’ve used before. A little goes a very long way.I also love the fact there is no residue left over on your hands.All natural ingredients. Definitely going to switch. Will try other products also. 😃

Doesn’t hold any better than other similar cheaper products. Smells nice and it’s good that it’s natural but still expensive

My hair feels healthier from using this product.It has a fairly strong hold and keeps it's shape.It's a little tough but Less is more!

Have been using this product since SummerThe product is quite thick, really need to warm the product up in your fingers or use a hair dryer to warm the product up before applying. You don't really need much of it to get a nice hold which is good, lasts me about 3 months.Noticed lots of tiny bits in the product though, not sure if i received one from a bad batch but have previously had no problems.
