Very poor quality sound
Followed the very poor english from Chinese manual, managed to get it working. Sound quality is very poor with a shrill sound when trying to dial out. Takes quite long until call goes through. WHen call goes through sound quality is very poor. Be aware you cannot press numbers whilst in call i.e. press 1 for.... pres 2 for.....I would not recomend this to replace the option of paying for line rental. I have found a different product which is better nd clearer should that be your aim (XLink BT)

It works perfectly
This Fixed Wireless Terminal (FWT) works using a 5G SIM on a network providing 2G at a frequency of 900/1800 MHz. Suggest you verify your 2G network frequency before purchase. It works perfectly with a 3 handset DECT phone, the BT 4600 Big Button cordless answer phone. All handsets ring and can make/receive calls. All handsets can navigate a call centre menu using their keypads.Don't know what the Ringer Equivalence Number (REN) of this FWT is but with both the BT 4600 DECT base station and an additional non DECT unpowered corded conventional telephone plugged into the two RJ11 sockets all phones (now 3+1=4 handsets) ring and all can make/receive calls. This FWT appears to work perfectly using the equipment described.Be careful inserting the full size SIM (don't trim it down), the SIM carrier is accessible on the underside of the FWT after removal of a cover and must first slide backwards a millimetre or two before it will swing open, the SIM slides down a track/groove in the now raised carrier, then close the now SIM laden carrier and slide it a millimetre or two to secure in place. If using a newly acquired SIM you might first need to put it into a mobile phone to receive an activation text message which might be problematic for you if said mobile phone requires you to cut down the SIM before it will fit. We have a 2G "dumb phone" (also called a feature phone?) which happens to take a full size SIM so this was easy; if you only have a smartphone it likely requires a cut down SIM which would subsequently require some "SIM re-assembly" (in the past I have found Sellotape across the back of the SIM has proved effective for SIM re-assembly).The aerial base is strongly magnetic which is mighty handy for positioning if you happen to have a suitable surface. The aerial provides excellent signal reception.
