I'm a homeschool mom of a couple children and this means that on any given day there are several pencils and colored pencils in need of sharpening. Prior to purchasing this AMAZING pencil sharpener, I thought, "What's wrong with a manual sharpener? It was good enough for myself, and my parents and my grandparents, why not bring history back?" Well, let me tell you, after THREE YEARS with that manual sharpener, I stopped trying to sharpen pencils. My kids stopped trying to sharpen pencils. Everyone avoided the dull and broken pencils. The manual sharpener I had always broke the lead, was incredibly hard to set up and use, and thus our house turned into a graveyard of mangled, useless pencils. I also didn't have time to sharpen my pencils! It took forever! But that all changed the day when I purchased and received this AFMAT electric pencil sharpener! Now, I had purchased one of these for my sister in law's classroom a few years prior, and she loved it! It was still working after a few years of classroom use. So I decided to take the plunge for myself. Let me tell you, I'M NEVER GOING BACK!!!! I had over 80 pencils we sharpened the first day, in around or under 5 minutes. It felt like mere seconds after the exhausting process I'd always gone through before. My children love to use this pencil sharpener as well! It's super easy to use for younger children! My pencils have never looked sharper! We are all happy! ✏️

Similar in size and shape to my 30+ year-old Boston electric pencil sharpener, but it works much better. This pencil sharpener brings a new blunt pencil to a perfectly usable sharp tip in seconds. I love it. I hope it lasts

I really love this sharpener. But it lasted me only 5 years. Not sure if that's a long time for you or not. As a teacher, not too long. It worked very well though, quick, and sharp. It was a tad loud for my liking, but liked it still. Wish it had along warranty or something.

Took awhile for my 3rd graders to figure out that it stops sharpening when the pencil is sharpened, but once they did they liked it. It last a whole year and I’m ready to use it for year 2.

We bought this after hating our $20 Bostitch one that was so finiky. Our kids love to draw and use color pencils so we sharpen daily. This on works great. It gets the pencils sharp with no problem. Its not finiky about position and the sharpen is even all around. Our children have a hard time deciphering how long to keep the pencil in. WIth that being said i think it could only be better if it would stop cutting when the pencil is sharp. Otherwise, it's a pencil sharpener, the opening is too small for fingers so yes its kid friendly. It fits perfectly on my counter without taking up too much space and its heavy enough so it doesnt slide around. The shavings pour out easily and the compartment for the shavings slides back into place easily so it's pretty easy to clean. Overall a solid sharpener and worth the upgrade for my family

Very happy with this electric pencil sharpener. It’s very sturdy and sharpens the pencils very quickly. The shavings tray is easy to remove and empty. I ordered it in green and love the color!

Absolutly huge SCAM useless and dangerous, It is nowhere specified that it is120v on the item description( I have screenshot of the amazon page) and doesn'tfit the 220v of the international sell market !! I think it is intentional to increase the sells !! unfortunately no return available too !!! AGAIN THIS IS 120V AND NOT 220V ,
