I got these along with a few other items as a present when my grandson received his black belt in Karate. He loves all things Japanese and was very happy with these. The best feature besides how attractive they are is they have a "rough" spot near the tip where you pick up your food that helps the food not slip out of the chop sticks. Very nice feature for those of us who don't eat with chop sticks every day and can use the extra "assist".

I’m by no means a chopstick connoisseur, I bought these to cut down on waste from the takeout chopsticks that they usually forget to put in the bag to begin with. They are perfect for my levelof use and have cute designs.

They look nice but functionality is lacking. Very slippery and cannot grasp food well; would not recommend.

The black paint comes off real easily! The paint was bubbling after the 1st wash in the dishwasher. So beware if you’re buying these for their looks.
