(I bought the pair from Allen Edmonds first, but saw that they popped up in my Amazon feed, too, and figured I could save 5% by using my Amazon credit card).When they arrived, I assumed they would all be the same. Same box. Same size. Same everything.They're not.The shoes from Allen Edmond directly: (1) smelled like amazing full grain leather (2) had very tight white stitching around the sole and (3) all stitching was straight with many small stitches.The pair I received from Amazon: (1) smelled like nothing. (2) stitching was more variables, without the straight lines and small tight stitches like the pair sent straight from AE. It was strange to me that they would be different. The UPC codes on the box were even slightly different.I'm returning these to Amazon. When they arrived I scrutinized them heavily but I am convinced they are, indeed, factory originals in first quality.
