Very Good Quality, Very Reasonable Price
I am a remodel contractor and have installed many, many doors in a host of different mounting styles (hinged, bypass, pocket, and barn style). I have ordered and installed barn style mounting kits from various manufacturers in a variety of price levels. I was very pleasantly surprised when this kit arrived. The YIGOLD 6.6ft Sliding Barn Door Hardware Kit is comparable in quality to those I've purchased for $100 - $120 MORE at local big box stores. The hardware is well made, well finished, and heavy duty. I installed this kit on a small shed I built to house my sailing and paddling gear as it allowed me easier access by maintaining a full size opening (hinges and for swing removed). I used the same brand kit to install a barn door into my mother's bathroom to allow her easier access with her walker than she had with a hinged door.As with any barn style door, a guide that fits into a kerf in the bottom of the door or a roller guide is needed to have the door track plumb and not swing in and out. I typically prefer a roller as it is easier to adjust, accommodates higher standoff distances from the floor of needed, and negates having to kerf the bottom of the door.I would not hesitate to order this set again.(I have not included pictures of the kit parts as other reviewers have already provided that).

Barn door kit
I liked use it different than the barn door bracket I use the bracket for a stair lift chair and it worked great angle it on a 45 about and was able to make the chair go up and down with other brackets that I designed to make it work to mount the chair The rail is very sturdy does not bend and holes. Lotta weight. saved over $2500 by building my own stair lift with that barn door rail, the bolts plenty strong. Been using it for about three years now.

Works with existing trim ... with some modifications.
Read at end if installing above existing trim.Ok let me get started by saying the product is an absolute steal for the price. Most stores were selling a 8ft track like this for 90-100$ plus. However clearly it isn’t the greatest quality when you are putting it together. It’s a giant pain in the but to align the holes properly on the wall since each extension piece doesn’t hold together unless it’s into the wall. Better off just using a laser level and measuring the hole distances without using the pieces. Also the drywall anchors (you need at least a few studs if you want this to feel stable) are total trash. They don’t grip the hardware at all. I had a few studs I drilled into so it wasn’t a big deal, I still used their drywall anchors and it was fine. Just don’t count on them if you almost exclusively use drywall anchors without studs for this (not recommended). The bolts/screws themselves are easily stripped and they look pretty crappy after they get stripped since the paint comes off easily. I don’t care since I’ll just repaint them or something. Could always buy some new ones. Just FYI they are lowing quality.*** alert. Trying to install without removing existing trim??? ***Ok so I didn’t want to remove the trim on our closet so I took a few steps to make this work still. Our trim has .5inch depth and about 3.5 inch width. With a 1.5inch door you will need to adjust the hardware to make this work and not collide with trim. I got different thin10mm nuts and also will be dremeling off a portion of the bolt that barely hits the trim. So you can make it work in that respect if your trim or door isn’t thickerFinally my door is 80 inch in height but installing above trim required me to put holes at about 85 inches from ground. The J-wheels give a little play with height if you install them very close to the top of the door but I still will need to add about 2-3 inches ish of wood at the bottom of the door for it to make contact with a door guide. Im ok with it though but in the future I think I’ll just be removing trim since it is a bigger pain in but to make all these adjustments. Of course you could drill directly into the trim but you would need some lumbar extending out from it on the side to continue drilling into. We didn’t like that aesthetic so opted not to.

Really great
I had to buy different screws for my use because I was hanging a slim screen door on a porch but this was easy to install and it’s worked out great

Excellent sliding barndoor hardware set
I ordered this barn door hardware to convert a bathroom door so I could get a transfer wheelchair through the door. I am impressed by how heavy duty this is for the price. It is well made of heavy solid components. I did drill new holes in the track so I could bolt directly into the wall studs and I replaced the door top door molding with a piece of flat trim that extends the length of the top rail. I had to shorten the wall stand off pieces the thickness of the added trim. The instructions say to cut a slot in the bottom of the door for the guide, but, instead I screwed a U-shaped wall shelf standard to the bottom of the door which I cut to the right length and that worked well. As stated in other reviews, the bolts for attaching the door are too long for interior doors, so I substituted standard nuts in place of the cap nuts included and that was an easy fix. This shipped extremely quickly and I would not hesitate to buy this again.

Nice for the price
This is pretty nice barn door hardware for the price. I got the 8' and it came in 3 sections. The instructions could be better/clearer. I winged it and it turned out great with the barn door I made. The bolts for the wheels were a bit too long, I just added extra washer. Rolls smooth, but would probably roll even smoother with a different bottom track guide. For the price, I definitely recommend it

Great product for the price
This product was perfect for my needs as I was looking for a long railing that was inexpensive. Have a 6 foot door opening in my shop that I needed to install a door on. It was easy to install and came with everything needed. One of the screws broke but wasn't a problem as I had another one handy. Would recommend this product. Door is very heavy (150 lbs maybe) so time will tell if this holds up or not.
