Serious stuff from an entertaining point of view
This book is unusual in that it contains some pretty serious content, particularly in the areas of discrete mathematics that are of practical importance in computer science and economics. In addition to the many problems, there is a good deal of instructive material, even including some proofs of theorems (I did say "serious" content!), all the while remaining eminently entertaining and accessible. Whether you are a kid who is interested in math, or are a technical professional preparing for a job interview, this book will serve you well.

Very entertaining and educational book
I picked it up this book as I was looking for a fun way to refresh my math skills. I like the way this book written and organized. Also the problems in this books range from easy to very difficult and most of the are very interesting. Not all exercises have their solutions in the book. Some problems have full solutions in the back. Others have only hints and sometimes hints + the final answer. While other problems have the final answer only. Overall the book is very useful.

Great collection of problems well explained
This book does a great job of presenting a variety of mathematical concepts in an engaging way. It could be enjoyed by mathematically inclined readers who would appreciate the mathematical basis of the problems, or by anybody who enjoys good problems or puzzles, regardless of whether or not they are mathematically inclined. I read this on my Kindle and it is very challenging to navigate back and forth between the problems and the solutions. Nevertheless, still a great book.

Good practice to keep the brain cells firing
This is a very good book for establishing multiple approaches for solving problems. I have enjoyed working the problems and find it good to tune up your analytical mind.

Great content, problematic printing
The content of the book is fantastic, and for this price, it's a steal. There is a ton of good stuff here. But the printing is pretty bad. The left margin disappears into the binding, especially in the middle, and the ink is faded in some areas. That said, the book is pretty cheap compared to more modern books, and the content is too good to pass up. I am glad they printed it, warts and all.

One of my favorite books; rating is for the quality of the print which is terrible (Dover Books)
I own a hard copy of this book which I really like a lot. I bought many copies as gifts to a new generation of math-loving family members. This copy published by Dover Books is the worst: tiny font, cheap dark paper. Cheaply published.I don't remember how much I used to pay previously for a better quality paperback book of this same book. I really do not mind pay a bit more for better paper.
