Best transfer tape i have used so far in this journey
I use this transfer tape to apply vinyl decals to items like tumblers and car windows. It worked well for that purpose. I have tried a few other cheaper brands before this and did not have any luck, with this tape it worked on the first try and hasnt let me down since. The roll itself was alittle tight but after i cut the sizes of squares i needed it flattened out just fine for my decals. I am new to making decals and using stuff like this so as a beginner its nice to find a product that actually works so you arn't wasting money messing up projects with cheapers brands. This brand was recommended to me by a pro.

Protects walls.
I use this to protect the walls where my dog feeder is and walls and window behind our birds’ cages. All the animals we have are messy - this contact paper sticks well and removes just as easy as it goes on. It allows us to wipe up any stuck on food (and poop! Birds are messy!) with ease. Highly recommended for this type of use.

Works great on book jackets
I'm a heathen and throw away the dust jackets for most of the children's books in my family's collection. Most hardcover kids' books are printed with the same artwork on the actual book that they have on the dust jacket, so we're not missing any illustration or information. The jackets aren't worth the time and energy that I would spend picking them all up and putting them back on the books every day, much less the time I would spend endlessly taping them all back together after thirty seconds of unattended toddler chaos. There are a few special books in our collection that are genuinely enhanced by the dust jackets; the one that finally pushed me over the edge is the beautiful Hello, Neighbor, written and illustrated by the legendary Matthew Cordell, which has different artwork on the dust jacket and the actual book. It turns out that it's actually pretty easy to make a pseudo-library-bound version of any hardcover book if you've got a few crafty skills and aren't super picky about the quality of the results. (It's a beautiful kids book, but it's a kids book all the same. It's going to get loved, that's what it's for.) I simply sandwiched the dust jacket between two layers of this clear contact paper, sealed the edges carefully together with the back of a pair of scissors, and cut off the excess. Then I folded the jacket the way it had been creased before and stuck it to the inside of the cover with masking tape. The dust jacket has stayed intact and on the book for a record amount of time, and it looks super fancy on the shelf, way more than I expected it to. I'm happy I was able to preserve such a beautiful piece of artwork for many years to come.

used to waterproof topographic maps
I'm not using this in the conventional manner so my rating may not be applicable. I use it to make a flexible lamination for a home printed topographic map. I got the idea from the YouTube channel "Outside Chronicles" entitled "HOW TO WATERPROOF MAPS // DIY Waterproof Maps for Hiking and Backpacking" skip to 3:20 minutes from start. It works well and can be marked up with permanent markers and cleanly erased with alcohol.

Help! I may be addicted to covering paperbacks!
Ever since I first bought this product it has been my unhealthy obsession to cover every paperback book in sight because they look and feel so damn good!

~~ Works GREAT for covering books! See how below. ~~
Sold as a shelf liner I have used this for years to protect all the books in our house! Paperbacks are so easily dogeared that whenever a new book arrives I quickly cover it before we start reading it. The 12" wide by 36' long CLEAR LAMINATE works PERFECTLY for this job. Here's a tutorial how to:1. Lie your book on the laminate, double the laminate over the top and cut along the premarked lines to correct size. (Backing paper is marked in 1/4" increments 1" thru 12" repeated down the roll.)2. Fold the laminate in half shiny side up. Do not put a heavy crease in the center.3. Place book to be covered on top and mark the top and bottom edges on center edge.4. Remove book and cut across and then at a slant to give space for spine. (See pics.) The deeper the spine, the more you will need to cut off.5. Open up and remove backing completely. (You will need a flat surface to work on.)6. Place back of book on right hand side of laminate ensuring you have it centered. If a paperback rub your hand on inside back cover to remove any bubbles. If a hardback, physically move the book, now stuck to the laminate, up and down pressing hard.7. Cut two triangles, one top, one bottom, off of the corners. Do NOT discard but just lay aside for use after the next step.8. Fold all three edges up and onto inside of back cover.9. Take the two triangles and place them on the top and bottom corners. This gives you reinforced corners.10. Carefully lift up the book onto its spine ensuring you have a tight fit. Roll the book over onto the front cover.11. Repeat Steps 6-9.12. Check for bubbles all over book and rub them out if you have any.CONGRATULATIONS! You have now covered your book and helped preserve it for many years to come. Please note that I purchased this product at the prevailing FULL PRICE. I was not requested to do a review but chose to do so. Thanks, Liz

Works great!
I've bought this twice now, it works perfectly as a protective layer for my home-printed stickers that not only keeps the graphics from getting scratched but also gives them a nice thickness. the sheet lasts quite a while and is easy to work with. my only issue is there are instructions printed in the centre of the grid on the back, meaning you have to do some guessing if you're cutting though the center of it (which I do to properly size it to the printed sheets). aside from that, it does exactly what I need.

Good value and good quality
I bought one at first for sticker laminating, and honestly it’s definitely the best price I can get for this long of a roll and good quality lamination. It sticks to the papers I use very well and it cuts well in my silhouette. If you make stickers like me you’d have to be careful laminating it since it comes rolled up, but if you pre-cut them and then put them under something flat and heavy, you’ll be able to get nice and flattened laminate later onAll in all super good, I’ve bought 2 more rolls for future use.
