Rubbish
Bought to replace standard HDMI from Comcast Xfinity in the hope of getting even betterpicture our of our brand new Sony Bravia TV, as it promises better picture resolution, blacks etc.Changed out, the picture worked with this Honeywell cable for about five minutes then cut outcompletely to black. Obviously the Honeywell HDMI had a faulty connection or weak wire forthis to happen. Returned to Amazon for a refund. I have IBRA HDMI cables and have had noissue with them. Honeywell need to look at the quality control on this product.

4K is here through DirecTV on certain Samsung models--this cable is perfect for 4K, 3D, and Audio Return
4K is HERE! Today, November 13th, DirecTV is launching it's 4K streaming video to Samsung TVs. I was ready with this cable! The manufacturer sent me this cable in exchange for an honest review, but I had no idea that 4K was actually coming out, and was ready to write a review about how 4K isn't available yet...but here it is :) The Samsung UNHU8550 did not disappoint. I'm not a big tv fan, but when I watch movies, I want the best picture available. This cable makes that possible at a great price. We have a 55" 3D LG in another room (the 55LB7200) and the cable linked it right up and ran 3D movies without a hitch. For the price of 12 bucks, you can't beat this cable. The cable itself has a braided sheath, which is easy to handle and doesn't tangle around itself. The connectors are strong and secure.Because it has audio return, you don't need a separate audio cable to link to your sound system. Your TV has to be enabled with ARC for surround sound. Most new TVs will have this :) I've had this enabled on my tvs and I love it. The fewer cables, the better.I recommend this cable. I think it's priced well and gives great performance.

Honeywell High-Speed S3 Round Braided Nylon HDMI Cable Supports Ethernet,...
I have been using these cables for a good period of time. While they were provided by the distributer for review, I wanted to wait until a honest period of testing was completed since I was in no way obligated to write either a positive or negative review. Among audiophiles there is much debate regarding the quality and worth of high end and very expensive cables vs the less expensive HDMI cables. In the field of filming, editing, and home theater, in which I have a few decades of experience, there exists the law of diminishing returns. The difference between an inexpensive $800 amplifier and a $2000 amplifier may be qualitatively great but the difference between the $6000 amplifier and a $8000 amplifier is often marked by only slight improvements. One can spend a small fortune on what is called 'High End' cables. However, and I know that some will disagree, I do not think they are necessary.First, it is important to know what system the Honeywell High Speed S3 Round Braided Cables were tested on. I use in my home theater a Panasonic ZT 65" plasma monitor, considered to be the very best of the plasma sets, 3 separate Aragon amplifiers for my 7 channels, Velodyne 15" subwoofer, Aerial Acoustic 5, 7 and 10 speakers for the center, sides and rear surrounds, Kimber speaker cables, Meridan processor and Oppo 103 Blu Ray player. This is a pretty high end home theater and one that would be most capable of testing the two Honeywell HDMI cables that were sent to me. The braided cable is unlike other higher end braided cables only in that the braided covering is not made of a cloth like material but appears to be a stamped plastic that covers the core of the cable( their box states that it is nylon which it just may be) which is really the most important consideration. Plastic or not, the cable is strong and provides the feeling of being well made. The one I tested is a 2 meter cable that Honeywell states as being capable of passing a full 387 MHZ bandwidth. While I do not have the testing gear to confirm this, there is nothing that would lend itself to my doubting its capabilities.Gold has always been an excellent conductor and the connections on these cables are 24k gold plated which should provide excellent conductivity for the copper conductors which make up the core of the cable itself. The literature on these cables state that they support 3D and 7.1 home theater systems as well as standard stereo and 5.1 systems. I can't honestly say what it is about these cables that makes the difference for 3D or a 7.1 system like my own but in use, the color resolution and audio distribution with these cables is excellent and I did not see any difference between these and the 1000.00 cables I was using. The audio and video that passes through these far less expensive cables will do the job for you in an exemplary manner. I have no complaints or concerns about them at all. They are very well built and do not feel at all flimsy or poorly constructed.I can honestly encourage you to make this money saving purchase, I really don't think you will regret it.Hope this very short review has been of some help to you.
