Does exactly what I need it to do. Picture quality is great but does depend on how good the wifi connection is. The 2 way audio works well. I didn't subscribe to the storage service because I only use it to check on my dog while I'm not home so I don't need it, but the pricing isn't bad. Would definitely buy again.

Great cameras the app could use a little work but for the price point I'd even call that nit picky those having issues your router is probably not strong enough or the camera is to far away,those complaining they get warm must not own many electronics those that cannot register the app delete the blank space the app adds for what ever reason I bought 2 an ended up buying 2 more I wish I could set it up so I could see all cameras on my desktop there doesn't seem to be a windows app for it so i installed bluestacks android emulator installed the iot app an just have it run one camera feed on my 3 computer monitor for now until I figure out another way to view all cameras on one monitor it looks like the yi home cameras have an app but won't work with these unfortunately.overall quite pleased with my purchases may buy the yis homes later on an use these in my shop

We purchased this to use as a baby monitor. I set it up in our babies room, downloaded the app, and started the free trial for the cloud subscription. I walked away and came back in the room about an hour later and the camera was so hot the plastic was soft. The infrared lights stay on all of the time no matter the brightness of the room. I immediately unplugged it and decided to send it back because I refuse to have this fire hazard in my babies room.Here’s where it gets even more interesting. I go to unpair the camera from my account before sending it back and they won’t let you unpair it because it’s under a subscription service. It’s not possible to cancel the subscription service because it’s a 30 day trial and it’s considered paid for for 30 days. Furthermore it will not give you the option of making changes to your account unless the camera is powered up and linked to the app.So essentially I have a fire trap of a camera that I cannot return because it has to be in my possession in 30 days to ensure they don’t charge me another $100 to renew their subscription service.This has scam written all over it.

I took a bit to get it going but I got it started my problem with the device isn't the cameras visibility at night or the pictures my problem is it has to be in the same room as a Wi-Fi I actually got it for my bedroom window I have cameras in the front part of my place I needed a camera for my bedroom that would be Wireless the app works and everything but like I said I put it in the bedroom and shut the door while it was in the bedroom and the door was shut and it won't read the Wi-Fi and I use Wi-Fi all over my house and I don't have any problem but the cameras can't be very far from the Wi-Fi so besides that everything else is fine and you can't activate it unless it's like right next to the Wi-Fi when you first try to activate it I was sitting in a chair I don't know three feet away it would not activate that literally had to go right next to the Wi-Fi for the camera to do the full setup and I think you should know you better have a memory card cuz until I put a memory chip or card in it it wouldn't work either so if it's not for like right in the room where your wife is don't buy it it's not going to work

I realize this isn't rate for outdoor use, but I live in an area with almost no rain so I thought I'd give it a shot as an outdoor camera temporarily. I put it in the shade and it has worked beautifully. The picture and audio quality is impressive. Good enough that I can tell which of my two black dogs is which and who is barking. It was fairly easy to set up too. The dogs respond when I give them commands through the camera too.

I have four of theses cameras, 3 years ago I paid 20 bucks a piece. How are they priced at 100 bucks now? What is wrong with people? This is crazy! By the way, they work great.

Great product. super happy with my purchase even though I was skeptical at first. the app works well and I can talk to my pets through the app. the quality is good, isn’t fuzzy or scary sounding to them ( they didn’t jump at all ! ) worth every penny

When trying to set up the camera, I came to learn that this YI IOT camera is not supported by YA. Only by reading through the Amazon comments did I learn that its app is different from YI. (It is YI ioT.) It was a bitch to set up, but I finally got it done. Now I worry about getting proper tech support.
