I love these tongs as they don't scratch my pricier cookware - they're inexpensive and do the job - sometimes I have to resort back to my metal ones for finicky pan items I need to pick up but mostly I use these - they are also quieter - no banging around in the pan....

Build quality seems ok, kind of stiff. Definitely not worth $10, maybe $5 at the most.

I only use it to grab items (toast, waffles, bagels) out of the toaster. Which is what it's designed for. I never realized before I bought these, how much easier my Toasting Life could become.

These tongs are good quality; sturdy, light weight but not flimsy. They're sturdy enough to pick up a nice size pork or lamb chop, or grab bagels from the toaster. Because they are open just the perfect width the tongs can hang easily over the edge of your utensil container - no locking device to keep them closed and then fiddle with them to open. Just pick them up and use them. I'm impressed with these tongs!

These are great little tongs. My grandmother had them for removing toast from the toaster - these perform the task great. We eat a lot of "Carb-smart" tortillas - and pan frying them with a little olive oil is a favorite here. We use these tongs exclusively for flipping them in the pan and it has held up well. 4 stars for heat resistance is not a knock on the item - it works as designed - be warned, not not use with open fire.

I needed something to take out our Belgium waffles out of the maker and bulky tongs didn't work well and these are perfect! Cleans easily with a good rinse. I do not put in a sink full of water.

After the last time I ran screaming towards my son as he headed for the toaster with a fork to disengage his waffle, he said, "Why don't you get toaster tongs like grandma has?" Why indeed. These things are life changing. I am now making toast just so that I can happily lift it out with unburned fingers. You will seriously wonder why you waited 35 years to buy something that costs less than 10 dollars...

No coating, good size, look like they will hold up, and perfect for toaster. My fingers can finally heal.

I thought these would be larger cooking tongs but they are a little bit small. They work fine however and are holding up so far.

Just what was needed for retrieving smaller slices from the toaster! Could have ordered more! Would be good for serving on chartreusery trays

They work taking things out of the toaster but they are too long ... difficult to store and forever falling on the floor.
