Very pleased thus far
I just assembled this chair yesterday, and can say it was as easy as can be expected. If you can assemble any kit furniture, you can assemble this. As with any assembly, take your time to identify the parts and ready every word of the directions, which are in clear English. All of the parts are there, with spares of all of the little pieces. Holes were cut perfectly. It looks fantastic. Part of those looks come from the wood frame. When dealing with wood, you do need to take care not to over tighten. The pads are comfortable, while the knee pads are perhaps *too* thick, making them a little wobbly but fine once I realized what was going on. I'm only 5' 1" and it fits fine but I tend to sit a bit more forward so far than seems best. It's probably better for people a little taller, and likely to be hard to find a good posture for anyone under 5 feet. Finally, the ability to rock is great at relieving stress. I can't imagine being able to sit in those metal kneelers with caster wheels nearly as long. If you have difficulty with balance though, I do not recommend these things.

Good and Bad
The Good: once assembled, this chair is so comfortable. Really, truly, so comfortable. The price is also quite good for this type of chair. The Bad: You get what you pay for. Assembly is a PITA. Instructions are poor, telling you to put things facing the wrong way (I even double checked this with an impartial spectator to my assembly woes). Once it's put together, the leg rests don't feel very sturdy - they definitely have a wobble to them. I am a very small person and feel all right... my husband felt like he was going to break the legs when he sat on it. The pieces really didn't fit well without really having to pull at and bend them. Several of the nuts that came with it were already stripped or were oddly sized.

Doesn't go together well but comfortable
It was hard to put together, not because the directions were complicated (I put together lots of stuff) but because the holes don't line up correctly on the pieces. I got it together, but there are places where there are gaps, because you cannot tightly secure some of the parts. That being said, it is immensely comfortable and I use it everyday at work. I threw out my old office chair. For the price, it's probably a pretty good buy, if you can overlook the minor imperfections in esthetics.

Comfortable, but low quality components.
After less than a month of light use, the stain is flaking off. I haven't even used it for more than a few hours a day. Also, the knee pads are already loose and wobbly, and I noticed when I was assembling it that one of the plywood pieces looked like it had cracked and been glued back together. Overall, the chair is comfortable, but the quality of the components is poor.

Great chair
I’ve put together more difficult pieces than this. The trick to a simple or difficult assembly of this chair is realizing that the bars that go across the two curved legs, and cut at angles to make sure that the leg pieces sit farther apart than the piece you sit on.I love that I can rock forward with this and still keep my spine straight, as I sit on the edge of my seat a lot and slouch with the lack of support. It takes some getting used to having part of your weight on your shins, but then I just move my legs so I’m straddle the chair and keep working. This and a plain yoga ball are the best chairs I’ve had.

A great Office Chair!
I perch, rather than sit in most chairs. With this chair, I have an unlimited potential of weird ways to sit. It's surprisingly comfortable, and relieves a great deal of strain from my lower back. I love being able to rock back and forth when I've had too much coffee, as well. The only complaint I could possibly have, is that the chair's height is not adjustable, so I sit up a little to high at my desk. I want one for my home now!

Sore shins at first but it gets better
This chair is a beautiful addition to my home workspace. I work from home and felt my shoulders rounding and this was a great fix.During first week of use my shins felt battered, but after a week and a half they got used to the pressure and the pain went away. There were no bruises only soreness.I like that this chair keeps me upright and I feel myself holding the natural curves in my back and neck. I can’t wait to get a checkup from my Pilates instructor when the world opens back up!

Just DONT
Parts are cut wrong (I should’ve listened to reviews!) and now I can’t even fit it it back in box for return. Total rip off and waste of hours putting it together till an engineer friend told me it was just cut cheaply.
