Comfortable and fairly lightweight but they stretch over time!
I purchased my first pair of these back in July 2019 and they were super comfortable for working on a concrete floor 8 hrs per day. They were comfortable and light, not too bulky so it still was possible to drive cars with clutch pedals that were close to the brake pedal and not accidentally hit both! They’re also fairly breathable.Due to the fabric they’re made out of, over time they start to stretch so I found myself adjusting the laces to tie them every morning and eventually I could even have to re-tie my shoes in the middle of my shift because I could feel them getting lose, keep in mind this was after maybe 8-12 months after wearing them 5 days per weeks so I’d say that’s the life time of a work shoe. The other down side is, for some reason, the lace eyelets are plastic, so they eventually break which also contributes to the shoes needing to be tied more.I ordered a replacement pair a little over a week ago and the first pair I received is noticeably different, the toe edge is designed slightly different (see pics) but everything else is the same. My first pair I received already had broken eyelets and luckily amazon swapped them out with ease. My second pair arrived undamaged however after wearing them for a few days at work I’ve found that the top corner of one tongue digs into a lower section of my ankle which feels like it’s slowly bruising and is constantly causing discomfort, I’m hoping the tongue wears in and this goes away.Otherwise this is a great alternative to work boots and heavier steel toe shoes!March 2021 update:I’ve had this latest pair since September 2020 now, the floor at my work is textured and the soles & toes are showing the wear now. They’re getting less comfortable now and I’m sure this work surfaces accelerated the wear on them considering my last job had a flat concrete floor. It’s good because it means these shoes truly have good grip but a bummer they have to be replaced (on this surface type that it) every 6 months or so. Photos of wear and the floor I’m referring to have been added! I would still get another pair of these shoes!

Excellent shoes for work
Good, light, safety! Shoes are matching exact size as suppose to be. Shoes are light and confi. Quality can be better but I do not complain! Advice is to use them with black socks. During sweat white socks got black on certain places. It take may be a week time to align individually to your feet. In the beginning the sole looks very high. After week time wearing they got molded under your feet and sole got like squeezed but still it is very confi and like spring feeling. Support for the feet is also good. I am wearing them 8h a day non stop and I am very happy. For the price will buy again definitely! Thank you KEEN, Hope my review help others with doubt as I was should or not buy them. You will not regret. And the way they look is stylish as well, for me at least! Enjoy

I work 12 hours a day, 6 days a week on my feet
I was worried about paying over $100 for work shoes that I might throw out in 3 months, I stand for over 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. I took a chance and bought them! Best decision I’ve made on work shoes! They feel great, look stylish and are high quality! I did purchase insoles for extra comfort since I’m on my feet all day, and they make a difference as well!

Hoping durability makes up for weight and comfort...
My last two work shoes were the Wolverine Jetstream and Reebok Astroride, both of which are the outsole-less style where the midsole cushioning material also serves as the wear surface. They were extremely light and comfortable, but not super-durable. The Keen Sparta has a proper lug outsole, so it's a bit heavier, but not objectionable. Better traction in snow is a plus.My only issue so far is that the heel cup "cradles" the Achilles tendon, and my Achilles tendons don't like that. The constant light abrasion causes irritation after a couple days in a row of 10k+ steps. So I'm alternating between them and my old Reeboks until either the shoes or my ankles adapt. UPDATE: After two weeks alternating between these and my old shoes, I'm not experiencing any issues. One minor aesthetic note, the shoes I got have a black triangle icon on the toe, unlike the yellow one in the picture, which saved me having to Sharpie it :-)

Foot pain, gone!
I've been though many, many cheap steel toe shoes before giving these Keens a try, and I wish I had just started with Keens from the very beginning.I've struggled with sore feet after my 8 hour work days for years. I've tried many different inserts promising comfort, I've even doubled up on insole inserts trying to find foot pain relief, but nothing has worked. At first glance I thought I would have the same issues with these Keen shoes. The inside of the shoe doesn't appear to have anything special about it, the insole seemed kind of firm to the touch. I really didn't have much confidence that these were going to work for me.But I must say, after two weeks of walking all over a concrete floor warehouse, my foot pain has almost completely gone away.I'm sure I'll be buying Keens again and suggesting them to others.Definitely worth the price tag.

after 4 months, started falling apart
I loved these for the first couple of months. Then, things started falling apart at the seams. Little things at first, like they eyelets for the laces started coming off. But then, what really irritated me, was the padding for the back of your foot, started coming out. So far that all of the padding behind my foot is now gone, in less than 6 months. It is almost like KEEN didnt think someone purchasing steel toe shoes would have to/ need to wear them daily. For if they did, they would not last. Very disappointed in the quality of this shoe for long term use.

Not wide!
I swear by keen boots, they are the only boot I can wear because of the wide width. This is not the case in shoes. I ordered a wide 10.5 and my feet are to wide. If you need a wide boot choose keen, if you need a wide shoe find another. It's unfortunate but it's reality.

Good, but...
Nice comfy pair of work shoes. I love the option of wide face so it doesnt bother me toes and fingers.Does not seem to be durable. At least the outer layer, which already started fading off at the toe after a couple of days of working on my knees.I dont know how long will the shoes last. Its very comfortable, but Im not sure if it justify the price.

Disappointing Quality from any shoe.
I wear these shoes at work, 7 hours per day, 5 days a week, half the time sitting behind a desk. The sole cushion part is separating from the shoe at the toe after 2 months of use. It is useless to pay a premium for Keens if the quality is not there.

Not a for a 16 hour work shift
Pros: Light weight, breathableCons: Not comfortable at the end of a 16hour shift, toe area has already begun to delaminate after 3 months
