Big flow, moderate noise
This is a very solid fan. Replaced a Patton with maybe 15,000 hours on it. Sad they don’t make those any longer. Relative to airflow, it is fairly quiet. Moves a serious volume of air. Many of the negative reviews on here fall under the category of know-it-alls who make unsubstantiated criticisms. For example, many claim that the 20” big box fans are at least as good and far cheaper. Not so much. Harbor Freight unit draws 164 watts while this one pulls 225, 37% greater. While power draw does not translate directly to airflow, there is a very strong relationship there so it’s quite likely that this unit is pushing a LOT more air than the cheap 20 inchers.

Well build and blows air!
I've had two of these fans for about a year. I use them to put on the dogs on hot days. They blow air! I little loud but work great. Just what I was looking for. Bought two other supposedly high velocity fans but was a joke.I also use the fans in the house it circulates the air helps keep my house cooler.Highly recommended if you are not too sound sensitive.

Fantastic air flow!!
Great fan...relatively quiet on low speed but really puts out the air flow on high.. ( has medium speed too) metal construction...seems well built.

Sturdy Build. Moves a Huge Volume of Air
I was reluctant to purchase this fan given that there were no reviews and I did not know anything about the company. But their product line appears to include commercial grade ventilation products so I took a chance. It is about half the price of a Marley of the same size. This fan boasts a higher output than any of it's competitors in this size and I am inclined to believe it, though I cannot confirm that it is moving 7500 CFM of air. Most fans in this class put out 3500 CFM to 5500 CFM.Pros and Cons:1. It's very well built and there are no unwanted vibrations at medium and high. There is a very slight whining noise on low. But it is not distracting.2. The heavy duty power cord terminates in a three prong plug.3. The motor is impressive in size and never overheats. Even after running the fan on high for hours it is only warm to the touch.4. There is a handy cord wrap and handle on the back.5. The side knobs come separately and snap on. However, I found them to be a little loose so I wrapped some tape on the bolt assembly for a snug fit.6. Unlike some powerful floor fans, this one grips the floor and does not drift.Assuming it holds up for several years I would consider it a keeper.

A Miniature Tornado For Your Home Or Shop!
If you're looking for a solid, well built fan that can move a lot of air, this is the unit you need! It's just slightly larger than the older generation 20" box fans of yester year, but just a small increase of the base size.It has no balance issues what so ever, even on the highest settings, unlike many of the plastic knockoffs that can fall over or must be supported by a wall to remain upright when used past the lowest setting. The only two gripes are the low whining noise it puts off on higher settings, and the knob clamp system to lock the fan at a specific angle. The noise you just get used to, as it blends into the air movement as white noise, and the hold-down knobs just need to be re-engineered so they don't fall off while moving the fan from room to room or storage. Once again, not a deal breaker by any means, just a silly design done so the fan can fit the packaging in two pieces for shipping.Overall this fan kicks ass in the air volume it can move quickly, and can literally circulate a whole homes air volume in very short order. So when the sun goes down or the outside temperature is cooler than the inside, just open a door or window, point this sucker towards the outside, open a door or window on the opposite end of the house, hit the high setting and literally feel the air current move through your house. It's AWESOME!!! I highly recommend this fan, even though it's a little on the pricey side.

The best I’ve ever had besides the old lakewoods.
Quiet and really pushes Some air. When buying a fan look for CFM. Cubic feet per minute. This fan is 7500 or more. Most fans range in the 4000 CFM. I saw a review and it said this is one of the best fan motors ever made. I’ve had mine for two years and use it 10 hours a night. Hasn’t even slowed down a tad. Doesn’t rattle. Stays pretty clean. I have now bought three of them. They work great outside also. If having a big party, this is how to stay. Cool. Not rainproof, but works well under tents etc. I have three brand new fans in a box in the attic that I probably will never use. I don’t think I can go back to the old style high velocity fans after using this one.

now THIS is a fan!
as somewhat of a fan aficionado i can tell you this is a fan built to last, powerful motor, tons of airflow.only problem i have with it is the lame placement of the switch on the BACK instead of the front/side like most of theses types of fans.still a five star fan thoughjust wish the switch was on the front or side

Power and performance
This is by far the best 20 inch fan I have ever owned. Yes a bit noisy but that's just the friction of the air against the blades which is normal. Well worth every penny....A+++++
